I bought Jade a pair of shoes that she's been wanting and a bunch of lotions and perfumes from Victoria's Secret. I felt bad for her around the holidays. Her mother and father died in an accident when she was really young and her foster parents kind of sucked. Luke planned to go down to Jersey spend it with his family and although he invited her, she wasn't ready to meet his parents. Jade was terrified of the word commitment. I still wasn't sure how Luke managed to make their relationship monogamous.

We ended up meeting at the food court. "What did you get?" I asked.

"It's starting to rain so we'll share once we get back to the hotel." She looked like she was up to something. "It's cool if I stay over, right?"

"Yeah I have no plans." It was Christmas Eve. I was that person who saved all her shopping for the last minute.

"Not even with your Italian friend?"

I rolled my eyes. "Don't think so."

We managed to catch a cab thanks to the huge flirt who was my best friend. You could see the look of disappointment on the driver's face as she stepped out of his car without giving him anything.

We had a slumber party.

I ordered room service and bought a movie. We sat on the floor of the living room showing each other what we bought. I had already hid Jade's present in the closet.

When I saw what she bought Dante I almost had a stroke. Actually I wasn't sure whether it was for me or him. "What the...?" I asked holding up the lingerie. Catwoman lingerie. It was a black leather bra with black leather underwear, cat ears, a mask, and fishnet stockings that went up to my thighs. I looked at her with wide eyes, trying to hold back a laugh.

"So you like it, huh?" She asked raising her eyebrows up and down.

"I can't wear this. We just started going out."

"Come on, I'm sure he'll love it. This is probably one of his fantasies that he's just too shy to tell you about."

Fantasies? "That's going to be so weird Jade! Thank god I bought him my own gift." She started to laugh as I stuffed it back in its bag and threw it onto my bedroom.

We were halfway through the movie when my phone buzzed. It was Dante. Boyfriend. He wrote.

What? I texted back.

The fitted word. I don't like being called your friend. Where are you?

My room. Why? Boyfriend. That term was now glued into my head. I never thought I'd find another boyfriend after Nick. I couldn't imagine myself with anyone else.

"Nah. The snow screwed up my plans. What are you doing?"

"Spending it with you." He had a big smile on his face. "I'm sure Sean's parents won't mind. Actually, Anthony is mad at me so he'll probably be happy about it."

"Why is he mad?" I remembered the other night. You could tell something was going on.

"Lots of things. It's a long boring story. I'm sure he'll get over it eventually."

I was still curious, but I let the subject drop. "Good. My friend, Jade is going to be there too. She's actually sleeping over tonight. She doesn't have much family."

"That's fine." He leaned back down to kiss me. We ended kissing for a while. Good thing a lot of the people here were on the dance floor and not paying any attention to us. When we broke away I was struggling to catch my breath. "I'll see you tomorrow." He said kissing me once more on the lips.

"Wake up!" Jade started to roll me off the bed. I groaned, sitting up for balance. Jade was like a little girl when it came to presents.

Yesterday I told her that Dante was coming over and she was beyond thrilled. I made her swear to act normal around him.

"Ok. Ok. Relax." I pulled my hair up into a bun. "At least let me go to the bathroom." The couple of presents that we had were under a tiny fake tree on top of the coffee table that bought yesterday at the mall.
