As I started to walk away, a hand reached out and caught my wrist. I turned to see the Alpha looking at me with cautious eyes, "I wanna know your story before we send you on your way. It's not safe for a girl to be out there on her own, especially one as pretty as you. People will take advantage of that."

I blushed at the compliment, it was definitely one I did not get often. "Come on..." The alpha trailed off, waiting for me to give my name.

"Lexi. It's Lexi."

"Alright." He smiled. "Follow us Lexi." The boy who hugged me took my bag, and we trudged through the forest. We only walked for about 10 minutes before we could see a large home. Wow, I didn't realize how close I came to them...

"Chase? Is that you? Where have you been! Your father needs you out-" a middle aged brunette came busing around the corner of the house. She had on orange shorts and a white blouse, with a garden hat on her head, and clippers in her hand. "Oh. And who is this beautiful young lady?" She ran over and pulled me into a hug. I forced a smile, but shifted awkwardly. I don't think this is proper protocol for a rouge.

"Hi I'm Lexi." She flattened my hair down in the back and smiled at me.

"I'm the Luna here, but you can call me Sally." She shined her dazzling smile at me. She hooked her arm through mine and started pulling my up the driveway. I turned around and gave a confused look to the Alpha, I've now figured out his name is Chase. He shrugged his shoulders, and lightly chuckled. Five minutes ago he almost murdered me, but with the approval of his mother he was letting me straight into his home. Never underestimate the power of a Luna, I guess.

"Wait mom!" I spoke too soon. Here comes the interrogation and cells. "We need to talk to Lexi! We found her in the woods, and we need to figure out if she can stay or not. She's a rouge, she might be dangerous." He called out to Sally.

"There is nothing to figure out son. She's half my size no way could she hurt a fly! She's staying with me for now," She smiled at me, "unless you need to go home. Then I might rethink." I was definitely more than half her size, she was so beautiful I only wish I could look anything like her, but I took pride in the fact that she was unthreatened by me. My wolf and I always prided ourselves on being kind, I hoped I gave off that aura.

I laughed shocked, "No it's okay" I shifted my eyes over to the Alpha to be sure this wasn't going to anger him. He looked a little angry, but no one else looked concerned.

I was slightly shocked by her sudden attachment to me, but I also understood. Luna's couldn't give birth to girls due to them having to produce males to take on the Alpha role. Girl weres just aren't very common in general. Most common pack wolfs mate with humans.

She pulled back and looked at me. "How about you help make dinner okay? It'll help get your mind off things."

"Sure, what do you want me to do?"

It took forever to cook dinner! Sally said the whole pack was coming for a meeting tonight, so we had to make a lot of lasagna!

I was currently upstairs showering before dinner, Sally had lead me to a gorgeous big room with a queen size bed, and told me I could stay there as long as I'd please.

Someone must have already unpacked my small bag in the room, because the few things I brought with me were neatly folded on the bed.
