"Arghh...." Ares shouted as the heat and electric shock gnawed through his body.
After the heat and electric shock, Ares now felt a chill that pierced his bones. As a chill shot through Ares' body, millions of sharp needles seemed to hit his body.
"Aahh...." This time Ares' scream got louder as if all the forest dwellers could hear her scream. Feelings of heat, electric shock, and cold. The three tortures took turns, Ares felt.
***
One day passed, and it's been a week since Ares passed out after experiencing such a painful ordeal. After a day of torture, Ares fell unconscious, and on the seventh day, Ares's body began to twitch. Ares repeatedly blinked his eyes, but still, he felt the glare from days of falling unconscious.
"Ughh... How long have I been unconscious? and am I dead again?" Ares said as he recalled the last incident he could remember.
"I only remember the pain and fainting. Looking at this place, it seems like I really just passed out and am still alive."
Ares stood up, and again he felt a strangeness in his body. "This body feels many times stronger. My hearing is getting sharper, and my eyes are getting brighter when I see. The forest, which looked quite dark yesterday, now feels light." A sentence escaped Ares's mouth as he felt a strangeness in her body.
"Wait a minute! Is this my feeling, or is it a reality? I seem to have become stronger after such a painful ordeal." he muttered as he swung his arm, punching the empty air in front of him.
"The muscles in this body also look stronger, and a thin body is now replaced with an ideal body." Ares suddenly smiled, and once again, he swung his hand, hitting the empty air in front of him.
"This body now feels much better than my original body." Ares clenched his fists.
"Alright, now it's time to level up. If this world is game-like, I will kill beasts or monsters to raise my level, and I'd better start by killing the weaker ones." Ares said as he saw a green figure flash in front of him.
"It's showtime."

Ares was standing on a tree branch, after some time climbing it. With sharp eyes, he stared at the one-and-a-half-meter tall green creature not too far from where he was.
"If I'm not mistaken, it's a goblin, and it's not a beast but a monster," Ares muttered without taking his eyes off her.
The goblins he was observing Ares weren't alone, but there were five goblins. Goblins were always in groups, so it was natural to see more than one of them.
"They are in groups, but they are not intelligent. It would be straightforward to kill them one by one."
Goblins are known as the weakest and dumbest monsters. They are only superior in numbers, but defeating goblins like them is easy. In the game, a level one player could kill five goblins by relying on intelligence.
"They're just ordinary goblins, unlike the goblin army. Meeting them at my current level will be a nightmare."
Ares pulled out the sword tied to his waist from the start. Apart from the sword, a tiny dagger was also on his waist. Seeing one of the goblins drift away from the herd, Ares fell from the tree and crept towards the goblin he was aiming for.
"Gotcha!" With one mighty swing of the sword, Ares managed to decapitate the goblin without making much noise. Finished killing the goblins, a notification table appeared in front of him.

"One goblin can make me level up. With the remaining four goblins, it should be able to raise my level to at least level three." Ares smiled for a moment, and again he continued to kill the remaining four goblins.
Ten minutes passed, and Ares finally managed to kill the five goblins; now, his level had just reached level three, but it was still too weak. He wants to know the progress, so he decided to look back at his status table.

[Shop]
There is a shop panel in the status table, and it can be pressed. "Maybe coins are useful for buying things in the shop. Hopefully, there are skills and weapons I can buy. My sword is starting to crack, and I need skills."
He presses the shop panel, and suddenly another board appears that shows what is being sold in the shop—weapons, armor, and skills. Three of Ares’ needs turned out to be available at the shop. In addition to those three things, there is a panel of food, drink, and medicine.
Opening the panels one by one, he bought the three things he needed. A sword, a black sword, light armor, and two skill books were accepted by him using half the coins he had.
Black sword, an average level 3 sword. Light armor, light armor level 3. Fireballs skill and Healing skill, two low-level skill books that he bought. Before leaving the forest, he wanted to study the two skills he had purchased.
"It's still noon. Instead of wasting coins to buy food, I'll rather hunt for food in the forest." Ares walked back through the forest. With his equipment, he was now more confident in facing opponents stronger than goblins.
While walking, he opens the Fireballs skill book. When the book opened, all the writings instantly turned into beads of light and entered his forehead. The process was speedy, and after the operation ended, Ares already knew how to use the Fireballs skill.
Fireball skills require one mana to make a fireball the size of a fist. The more mana is used, the more giant the star can form.
"The Fireballs skill is indeed a low-level skill. But with a lot of mana usage, this skill will be very, very terrible," Ares muttered before he learned the Healing skill.
Healing Skill, able to heal minor wounds, both external wounds, and internal wounds. The Healing skill will be more vital when used by the owner of the light element.
"Two beneficial skills. At least now I can heal my wound," he said as soon as he finished studying the two skill books that were now just blank sheets of paper.
The sky began to darken as Ares finished grilling the rabbit meat he had caught. He caught a rabbit the size of a young goat and turned it into grilled rabbit meat that was appetizing even without seasoning.
"After eating, I better find a place to spend the night. Since yesterday I didn't rest, at least tonight I will rest, and I need a safe place." Ares ate grilled meat while walking, and finally, he came to a cave.
"This place is quite comfortable and looks safe. This cave is on the outskirts of the forest; at least there are only ordinary animals around this place." Ares lays down on a rock, and it doesn’t take long for him to fall into a deep sleep.
***
The morning greeted Ares, who had just woken up from his sleep. Last night he slept very soundly, and he woke up when he heard the sound of footsteps in front of the mouth of the cave he was living in. As a soldier, he could very well distinguish the sound of footsteps, and at this moment, he was very sure that the footsteps in front of the cave's mouth were human footsteps.
"Finally, I can meet humans in this world," Ares muttered, who started to get up from sleep and stand up.
