"Macey, do you know what that was about?" I asked the little girl hoping she caught onto something I didn't.

"Nope!" she replied and went back to coloring. I just sighed and stared up at the ceiling.

Not too long later, Logan came back in with a wide smile. I sat up and squinted my eyes slightly, he was acting weird. What is he up to?

"It's you luck day," he started and a smile broke out on my face, "but you have to come to my house until you heal."

"What? Why your house?"

"We have a family doctor that lives next to us."

"You've got to be kidding me," I groaned.

"Don't worry your precious little head of yours. It's not just me, Geena, Micah, Hannah, and the guys will be around too!" Logan states almost too happily.

"Great." Sarcasm filling my voice.

The trip back to our puny town wasn't too bad, apart from bumps and all. Macey sat in the back singing to the song with words that didn't match. It was a adorable, most of the time it was mumbling.

We turned down a dirt road that seemed to never end and lead to no where. I was looking out the window at the scenery when I thought I saw wolf. I blinked and it was gone. I shook my head hoping it was just my imagination.

"I feel like you are just taking me far enough into the woods to kill me," I muttered as we continued to drive.

"I would never hurt you." There was a hint of seriousness in his voice as he said that.

Finally a house appeared, then many afterwards. They were all scattered about and many people milling about minding their own business. It was basically another little community hidden away. It was amazing.

We stopped in front of a house that seemed slightly apart from the rest. Macey basically ran out of the car and up the steps that led to the front door. The door opened and a lady walked out and picked up Macey. The lady shared the same hair color as Macey, but had deep brown eyes instead. She walked towards the car.

I was about to open the door and get out when the door was opened and Logan held out his hand for me. I almost didn't take it just to show I could get out on my own, but something in the back of my mind told me that he already knew that. I took his hand as he gently pulled me up from the car. I winced just slightly from the movement, but once I was standing I was fine.

"Well, I was hoping you would give me the keys to your house and we could have Geena, Micah, and Hannah go over there to pick up your stuff," Logan said with a small smile.

"Okay, well, then where's the duffel bag I had with me yesterday?" I questioned.

"Over there." Logan pointed to the side of the bed. I went over and pulled out two sets of keys and handed it to him.

"I want my motorcycle here to, I don't want anything to happen to it while I'm gone," I stated seriously.

"Got it. Jacob knows how to ride so I'll have him go with them and bring it back."

I nodded and turned to the window. "Everything I own is in that apartment, I would be appreciative if everything was where I left it when I get back."

He nodded and let me get settled into my new room for awhile. I go and sit on the edge of the bed. I hope none of them will regret this later, I haven't even known them long and they are already taking care of me as if I was family. It was different for me, I'm not used to family and I don't know how to be nice.

I laid back into the bed and just stare up at the ceiling. I ate earlier and had nothing else to do. he stab wound was taking a lot of energy out of my and I soon found my eyes drooping close.
