At this time I wished Logan had marked me so I could mind-link him, but sadly I couldn't. My side was bleeding but not too bad, but my shoulder hurt like a bitch and I couldn't really move that arm.

I walked over to the gun I dropped and picked it up again. I checked the magazine and saw only five bullets left. I didn't have any extra ammo with me so I had to make these four shots count.

I stood next to the door again, waiting for more to come. I wish they would stop, but I knew more would come. While I stood there, I heard the shouting, cries, howls, growls, everything from upstairs. I heard everything and it horrifying. I wish it would all stop.

More were coming down the stairs again. I looked over and moved away from the wall and stood tall. This time was different. There were two rogues in wolf form and one man standing behind them. It didn't take me long to recognize him. I faltered but quickly regained composure.

"Remember, girls, I want her alive," Grant said and then smiled at me. The crazy look in his eyes only intensifying.

The two wolves ran towards me. I was scared knowing I didn't have much chance making it out of this one but I was going to fight. Bringing up the gun I shot at each of them twice, hitting them each both times then dropped the gun. They weren't fatal wounds, but I hoping it would help slow them down. The rogues whined but kept coming at me. I brought out my knives, one in each hand.

They reached me and lunged. I brought up my arms as I fell to the ground. I heard multiple screams from the safe room but I couldn't pay attention to those right now. My right shoulder smacked against the cement floor hard enough to make me cry out, but not enough to make me stop.

I held my knives tighter than ever before as I forcefully ripped my arms out form under the wolf's paws. Claws gripped my skin and tore open as I moved, but I need to kill them. I needed to protect these people.

With newfound strength, all my pain faded as the adrenaline kicked in. I yelled as I stabbed the rogue on top of me and twisted the knife. It got off of me but I wasn't done. I got up and jumped onto its back and wrapped my arms out its neck as I took the knife and slit its throat deep. The wolf fell to the ground barely moving as it bled out all over the floor.

"What? Are you afraid of me now? Afraid to die?" he said evilly as he got closer.

I continued to move away from him, moving slightly sideways trying to get to the gun without looking suspicious. I felt the gun finally brush up against my arm and i pushed it back with me. My back pressed against the wall, my right hand hidden behind my back as I gripped the gun with only one shot left in it. I had one chance at this and if I missed it was over. We were all dead.

"C'mon, Little Killer, you can't be scared. What are you up to?"

I wasn't going to give anything to this dick. He was just going to have to wait. I was waiting for him to get closer to me, I wasn't going to risk missing at this distance. Finally when he was just a few feet away from me, he crouched down it eye level. Nothing changed about him. The cold eyes colder than ever.
