Mr. Hugo might be one of my father's best friend but I and Theo have a long rivalry since Sophomore year, we always wanted the same thing and he's always having the upper hand because of my busy schedules. I always letting him have the last laugh but not this time, when I heard about the Marshalls adopted daughter and she attends my school, I wasn't too intrigued about her till her father came to watch one of my club matches and he showed me her pictures.

Looking at her pictures alone spikes a certain interest in me, it opens a feeling I thought have buried since Sophomore year and a part of me was willing to follow my emotions but another side of me was scared of getting hurt again by my emotions.

Going back to school to find out she's friend with the girls who are more like sisters to me because we grew up together, I find myself wanting to get closer to her. Seeing her in person made me more into this hazel beauty, the way her black hair looks so natural with her smile, I find the pull working more in her favor.

"What is this girl doing to me?" I asked myself, I find myself lost in her beauty without her forcing herself on me like all girls. I need to stay away from her to avoid me getting hurt, so I said those hurtful words to her but she didn't even talk back at me instead she bowed her head I wanted to walk to her just to lift her head up so I could stare into her eyes again, but I walked away from her.

Gabriel and Michael met me outside with a confused look on their face, "I don't know why you did what you did in there, but you really hurt her and Mila." Gabriel said to me.

"You think I don't know that," I replied him slamming my hand on the door at the entrance while I walked out of the building back to our locker room. I don't share my locker room with anyone, perks of being a Moretti.

I sat on my bed with Gabriel and Michael taking their seat on the sofa, "You know you can always talk to us, right?" Michael breaks the silence. "I didn't mean what I said to her and now I guess it's beyond reviving," I said to them.

"Hold up, do you like her?" Gabriel asked with a smirk on his face, "Because a little birdie told me, Theo is also interested in her but I don't think she likes him like that." He stated with an amused look on his face, great sophomore year all over again, but this time am not giving her up because am tired of mom trying to fix me up with all her friends daughter, she even tried fixing me up with their sons thinking am gay like who does that to their child. "I am not letting him have her this time," I declared to my friends.

"You have to find a way to make it up to Ava and Mila, that's the only way you can get to her and I heard they are going to California for the weekend." Gabriel said with a proud look on his face.

"After Sophomore year incident, this will be the first time I will see you be regretful of your actions and I think it's a good thing." Michael said to me with a smile on his face.

"I noticed that also, I mean the great Lorenzo Moretti is remorseful for the first time in ages and it's all thanks to an innocent beauty, who doesn't even know the reactions she's making the opposite sex have," Gabriel responded to Michael in agreement with his words.

I walked out with Gabriel laughing at her predicament behind me, we ran laps and did some training section like taking penalty shots, corner kicks, free kicks and dribble, which results to me

straining my arm after I was tackled by Gabriel.

"Let's get you to Dad, am certain he will be elated to see you." Gabriel said while we entered his car and he zooms off.

"All thanks to you son of a gun, you didn't have to push me dumbass," I screamed at him with a smirk on my face.

"You can't blame me young man, the finals are in 3weeks and the team got there without both Captains and they deserve to have us in the best state. We are playing against one West Prestigious from Florida, I don't even know the school." He answered sounding worried.
