Adopted novel Chapter 61

"Sky we can go visit her or better yet Lorenzo can fly her here to see us, can I borrow your phone Lorenzo?" I said to him holding out my hand to him and he placed his sleek mobile into it and sat on the floor in front of me I smiled at him. I dialed her digit because I knew it off heart putting it on speaker it wasn't connecting, "Sky why isn't it going through and why hasn't she come to visit me ever since I have been out of the hospital?" I asked him sadly "Haz," he started walking towards me and sat beside Lorenzo on the floor placing his hand on my lap "Nia won't be coming" he said to me "are you guys fighting again or did I do something to her?" I asked him with tears rolling down my cheek knowing how they were always fighting and go days without talking to each other or maybe I had my first fight with her "babes, you did nothing wrong and we are not fighting. It's just that she's dead and dead people don't come back" he explained to me making me sob out loudly.

She can't be dead because she promised me she won't ever leave me alone and she will always be there for me, I asked how she died and I was told what happened to her and where she was buried. She died without fulfilling her dreams and her aspirations were gone with her, I sat on Justin's lap while the pain keeps hitting hard but I didn't want to be selfish because I wasn't the only one who lost a friend Sky also did and I was told she was adopted by a loving couple who also lost a daughter and I am happy for her because according to Justin she is resting with having fun with her parents in heaven.

It's been a month since I heard the news of Oceania's death and I am getting over it little by little, I receive gifts from fans daily which I keep in the room mom made for things like that. I am coming out of my shell little by little and I know I will be fine with time, I started a therapy section with Ameer two weeks ago we go to her office thrice a week with our parents and it's been effective because I can sleep a little but only with Cole around. The therapist is an understanding woman who allows me to sleep on her cushion for an hour when we arrive before commencing our section, she doesn't force us to open up she just allows us to do whatever we want and she's trying to get us to trust her which she doesn't have to stress herself to do because I already do.

The past four weeks have been fun in its own unique way with my friends and family coming around I met my paternal grandparents and I can say I am my grandpa's favorite while Cole is grandma's favorite, I enjoy having him around we prank the rest, we invent games and talk about life at night watching the stars do their things. Grandma is also a great company especially when we are baking, she once added more sugar into dad's portion of the batter and forced him and Gio to eat it because according to her they need some sweetness in their lives, it was fun to watch them obey her and for people who take their coffee black with no sugar at all, we all had a good laugh about their misery.

I and the girls had sleepovers where we talked about things, did each other nails, and had lots of junks to last us for 3 years according to the Mils she wants to fatten me up which I find amusing. I had fun with the boys also, we listen to music, watched football another season started last week and Gabriel with Lorenzo has been gone since it started to prepare for it, we watch basketball also with them starting another season making Theo absent also while Justin and Micheal will be starting their tours soon, Liam and Mils are gone for fashion week in Paris, Rafael will be leaving for California tomorrow to start a new movie shoot.

Ameer will be leaving for Paris tomorrow also for fashion week he got signed by Elite modeling agency and also another contract by Ford modeling agency after he was added to the family legally and it was announced to the public making all model agencies, movie directors/producers and even record labels come running into his mailbox with opportunities and contracts making mom get him an agent, a manager, a secretary and also his own stylist. After it was announced that he's going into modeling he had gifts from top brands like Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Fendi, Calvin Klein, Versace, Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Armani, H&M, and Adidas which made me so jealous and proud of him at the same time, his closet became fuller than mine and it was funny because I am the girl but he is the model. Mom also announced his sexuality to the world to avoid unnecessary drama as she called it.

I am still healing and we launched a new makeup and fragrance collection last week which was sold out within 72 hours earning us a record never beaten, the profits went to the orphanages in Africa which we received lots of appreciation letters. I have managed to form a great bond with Lorenzo and Theo where they call me daily and we talk about work and other things, I made my first public appearance for the launching of my new collection using Mils as the face of it I made her the ambassador of Diamond which she was very happy with and received it with joy, I am thinking of going into modeling also because of Mils persuasion and mom was happy when she heard I am giving it a thought Ameer is the happiest because he wants us to do something together as a twin which I feel will be nice.

Dad is been overprotective and doesn't make me leave the house which four guards going with me, I have learned to get used to it and my bond with him grows stronger every day although he isn't around we still talk every day. My life has been great so far and now I have to be prepared to spend nights without Ameer around or I follow him to Paris for fashion week, it will be his first-ever walk down the runway and I am sure he will be nervous so I decided to go along and encourage him although he doesn't know about it yet.
