Adopted novel Chapter 60

I don't feel alone anymore because of the company I have daily and I am pleased with them, it's hard going from a child no one wants to a famous company owner, what is left is for me to talk to them about the nightmares and get to know them better which I am eager to do. I noticed the arrival of my brothers and I can tell it's going to be another fun conversation and I heard Sky telling me about school resumption and how he can't wait to have a boyfriend which almost brought a smile to my face, he had always wanted to have one and I know the person who dates him will be lucky to have him because he is a sweet person, I heard Justin talking about a new song he made for me and the song started playing.

At first, I wasn't concentration on the lyrics but the chorus made me and after the song finished I couldn't help the sob that came out of me, I couldn't help myself I just kept crying and they both jumped to console me noticing I wasn't stopping soon Justin left to call our parents who came running in to console me and after a while I passed out in mom's arm.

The nightmares started again but this time around it was as if I was jumping from one phase to another, at first I was walking a dark path and the next thing I was been attacked by a group of guys "please don't hurt me" I said to them with tears in my eyes and fear of what was about to happen in my voice but before they can come closer I was taken out of there only to be at the mercy of another group of guys who was looking at me like a meal to be devoured "please I just want to friend" I pleaded with them but which friend was I finding? I was taken away from there to find myself at the school where the jocks had their revenge on me for losing the game.

I still don't know how it's my fault and one of them was struggling to pull my pant off "please not my panties again" I pleaded with them only to be slapped and I felt a sharp pain in between my legs "it hurts please stop" I begged trashing under the person on me. I was taken away from that memory again to be under one of the drivers of the orphanage who was looking at me with a smirk on his lips "please sir, I won't miss the bus ever again just let me go for today" I begged him only to be slapped in return "please someone help me, it hurts please stop" I screamed even when I knew no one will come to help me.

I could hear voices telling me to snap out of it that it was only a nightmare but it wasn't just a nightmare it was a memory I was reliving the worst memories of all, I found myself running with Sky behind me and we hid behind a dumpster, footstep could be heard in the dark alley "they are coming to get us Sky, they will hurt us again won't they?" I whispered to him. I heard Sky telling me to open my eyes and that Nia was waiting for us making me open my eyes to see him with tears rolling down his cheeks and I pulled him closer to myself "they hurt you, didn't they" I asked him and I could hear mom loud sob "we are fine now babes" he replied trying to smile but it was more of a grim. I looked round the now filled room to see the girls with tears in their eyes and the guys looking all sad suddenly I missed the sun, I missed the brightness it gives to the world and I missed watching the sunset and I had the urge to taste a chocolate cookie and down a glass of cold water.

"Sky I want to go outside, I want to watch the sunset and have a glass of cold water with a chocolate cookie. Can I do that?" I asked him curiously only for the girls to jump on my bed with eagerness "we can do our nails also" Ava said with a smile on her face "I know the perfect spot but we will have to drive down, Is that okay by you?" Mom asked with a small smile on her lips while she cleans her face with her palm I nod in understanding and acceptance "I can't wait to tell you all the gist I have in stock for you within the past month" Mila clapped her hand eagerly.

"First you have to change your outfit while I go pack a picnic basket" mom said before placing a kiss on my hair "it's nice to hear talk you talk again baby" she whispered "welcome back princess" dad said kissing my hair and they both walked out of the room.

"Diamond the boys can also come right, I mean if you are not comfortable with us yet it's understandable," Justin said with a smile on his face, I left Sky on the bed to the sofa Justin occupied I sat on his lap and rest my head on his shoulder and closed my eyes making him wrap his hand around me "you are our brother, aren't you?" I asked him I was told he was our elder brother so I don't think I have a reason to be scared of him "that I am Ro" he answered with a grin on his lips "I know you won't allow them hurt me" I reassured him meeting his eyes, "I will protect you with my life honey and I can say the same about the boys especially these two fellas" he responded pointing to Lorenzo and Theo who was watching me.

He asked them to come closer and they did "sweets, you still remember their names ya?" He asked and I nod in response "he's Theo and he's Lorenzo but where is Rafael?" I asked after pointing to them by their names "he's working bambina, but he will visit after the shoot is complete or should I call him?" Lorenzo said kneeling in front of me to see me properly making everyone gasp in shock I don't know why they did "we don't have to disturb him from his work, thank you" I said to him "that's why I will call the director he's working for to allow him talk with you or better still I can fly you there to see him" he suggested with a smile on his lips "you don't have to do that but you can fly me to see Oceania" I requested and I noticed the once noisy room becomes quiet after my request and everyone was looking at each other.
