Alana's POV

"Where were you?" He immediately asks and I note my lips as James' eyes widen. He retreats so quickly, it's as if he wasn't even there.

"I went for some...um. ice cream." I lie.

"Bullshit." He states tilting his head and crossing his arms. "You don't like ice cream. If you're going to lie to me, at least don't treat me like I don't know crap about you."

He was mad.

"Okay, okay I just need you..." I grab his hands and he peers down at me, knowing I was trying to soften him. "To not get mad at me." He huffs, slightly nodding his head.

"I went to visit my dad," I state and he's silent, waiting for more. "And...I told him I didn't want to see him...anymore."

Instead of talking me out of it, his arms wrap around me and I was honestly surprised as he pulls me onto his chest.

"I wish you would've brought me with you, or at least told me you were going..." He murmurs and I sigh. "But, I'm proud of you. For standing up for yourself. I know it was hard for you, it must've been. So it's okay that you chose to let him go." He lays a soft kiss on my temple and I smile warmly, feeling my heart soar.

"I love you," I tell him and he breathes in.

"I love you too, but, there was a promise." He states lifting me and I tilt my head.

"Was there?"

"Mhm." He hums kissing my lips and I smile.

"What was it?"

"You know exactly what it was." I laugh as he begins to carry me to the bedroom.

"RISE AND SHINE!"

I'm drowning!

Gasping for air, I shoot and find Trina standing over me with a bucket of water and James sniggering.

"What in the world?" Aiden's eyes pop open and find me confused and wet.

Not in an arousing way.

"Babe?" He calls and I angrily get up and walk into the bathroom slamming the door.

Mother nature just graced me with a gift.

I lock the doors and grumpily strip off my clothes and hop in the shower, washing my hair and cleaning myself before getting out.

I blow dry my hair to waste time and step out. Thankfully, Aiden was the only one sitting on the bed, fully dressed. He must've bathed in the extra bathroom.

"You okay babe?" He raises an eyebrow as I run a hand through my hair, ignoring him as I rummage through my closet. "Baby?"

Grabbing a random pair of jeans, I pair it with a black shirt and walk back into the bathroom, locking it again before searching my cabinet for pads.

Am I the only one who's afraid of tampons?

Aiden's POV

I watch as Alana shuts the door again, and upon the familiar clicking of the knock, I know something wrongs. So as soon as the door swings open, gen minute's later, she walks quickly avoiding me and I grab her waist.

"Hey, hey, hey." I catch her and she avoids my gaze.

She must be on her period.

"What's wrong?" I ask her lifting her chin and she grumpily averts her eyes. "Are you mad at me?" We both know she wasn't but it was times like this that I loved to tease her.

"I know."

"Then you have absolutely nothing to be worried or jealous about. Okay?"

"Okay." She mumbles.

"Now. Give me a kiss." She lifts herself, leaning across the table and I do the same and I peck her lips.

"So it's you're birthday in a few days." She tilts her head and I nod. "What do you want?"

"I don't know. Surprise me."

"You sure?"

"Yes." I nod, before smirking. "Luckily its the day after your flow leaves."

"How did you know that?" She gasps.

"I have a calendar for you on my phone. Duh. I'm surprised it didn't alert me this morning."

"You're lying!" She gapes incredulously. "Give me your phone," I smirk, pulling it from my pocket and handing it to. She unlocks it and I guess she finds it as her eyes widen.

"You're tracking my period?" She says loudly and everyone turns towards us, she blushes but I only grin.

"Yes, yes and yes," I say boldly and she tries to remain serious but instead, she bursts out laughing.

"You're too much." She grins and I run a hand through my curls.

"But you love me."

"That's I do."
