Lucas POV:

"What the fuck do you mean he's gone?" I yelled as I sat up from my hospital bed.

Dad had been taken by the hunters right under our noses.

I heard my mother sobbing outside my room.

Like hell, I'm going to sit here and let this fucking happen.

I ripped the IV out of my arm and stood. My legs were killing me but they had healed enough for me to walk.

"Meet me in my office, Adrien. Now." I said as I shifted and ran to the pack house.

When I got to the pack house, I shifted, breathing heavily.

Charlie was being tortured. I could feel the agonizing pain from the silver knives the hunters used against her.

"Alpha, you should be resting." Adrien said. "No! Now they have my father. Something isn't right here. We have to gather some neighboring packs and form a search party." I told him.

"On such short notice?" Adrien asked. "We don't have a choice." I said as I picked up the phone.

Layla was in no shape to go out there. She had to return to her pack to at least attempt to restore order in the pack. Dorian and Sandy had been running things for the last few days.

Charlie POV:

I was thrown back into the room I was originally in and saw that Sin and Lana had been taken back as well.

Sin was covered in cuts and bruises, like myself.

Then I noticed Alex breathing heavily.

"How the hell did you get here?" Sin asked him.

"The mother fuckers caught me by surprise while I was out on the field. Injected me with wolfsbane. I came to while they were dragging me in here. I can't fucking reach Sadie." He replied.

"They've been drugging all of us. None of us can reach our mates." I told Alex.
