But of course faith wasn't on my side and a waitress, who eyed my mate like he was a piece of meat, came over to take our order instead.

"My name's Jessica and I'll be your server this evening" she said and she smiled flirtatiously at Noah, setting off an uneasy feeling in my stomach.

Noah had only looked up at Jessica for a second in acknowledgement before looking back down at his menu and calling out his order then mine.

"Rosiane are you ok with water as a drink?" He asked me causing Jessica to snap out of her little daydream about Noah and turned her, now glaring, gaze in my direction.

I quickly nodded my head and looked down at my hands that were resting on my lap.

"And we'll have two waters with that" Noah told her.

"Anything else sir?" She asked suggestively as she discreetly pulled her blouse down and leaned towards him.

"Yes actually" he replied.

I looked up through my lashes to find him looking up at our server with a slight glare.

"I would like a different server and your boss will be hearing from me soon about how his servers act quite inappropriately" he said as he gave her a fake smile.

She scoffed, flicking her hair over her shoulder and stomped away.

Noah slouched back in his chair with a slight frown on his face. I reached over the table and took his hand in mine and smiled up at him.

"I'm sorry" he frowned as he stared at our hands.

I shook my head and gave his hand a slight squeeze, showing him that it was fine.

He placed a quick kiss on the back of my hand before setting it back on the table and we enjoyed each other's company as we waited for our food.

"Your order" a voice announced, breaking the silence. I looked up and saw a man had replaced our previous server.

He placed our plates in front of us and left after asking if we needed anything else to which we replied with no.

We ate in silence and I was able to finish almost all of the food without feeling sick which was a big improvement to when I arrived here.

The man came back and collected our plates. We thanked him then Noah stood up while I followed and we walked back over to where the hostess stand was to pay.

As we were paying, the manager approached us and apologised for Jessica's inappropriate behaviour.

After all of that was finished, we decided to head home because we were both tired, especially Noah because he had meetings all day.

He had asked me a million times if I was sure that I didn't want to continue the date but I knew he was tired so I said we should go home and besides, we can always go on other dates.

What felt like hours later, the agonising pain finally stopped and I collapsed flat on the ground, closing my eyes and breathing heavily.

"Oh my Goddess" I heard Noah mumbled, completely shocked.

I opened my eyes and I looked up at him confused. I saw him staring at me in shock and awe.

I tilted my head to the side and went to stand up but fell back onto the ground, that's when I noticed that four snow white paws had replaced my pale human legs.

I let out a yelp of surprise and jumped back up again, getting used to the feeling of being on four paws.

I began looking around and realised my senses are now even more heightened then before I shifted.

After finding my balance, I began prancing around happily, glad that I finally shifted into my wolf.

I heard a chuckle and looked to my right and saw Noah smiling at me while his shoulders shook lightly.

I walked over to him and sat down in front of him and let my tongue roll out of my mouth as I panted.

He crouched down in front of me and scratched my ear, causing me to tilt my head in that direction and purr.
