I giggled and continued running home. I felt him grab my arm and pull me backwards.

"No!" I exclaimed as I tried getting away.

"I have you now little one" he laughed and threw me over his shoulder.

I laughed as I slapped his butt and he carried me home.

He walked us into the kitchen and called the local Chinese and ordered our dinner. After putting the phone down he threw me onto the living room couch and leaned over me.

"Hi there" I giggled as he smirked down at me.

"It's not nice to tease people little one. Now I think you owe me something" he tutted as he rested his forehead on mine.

"And what would that be?" I asked him innocently as I wrapped my arms around his neck. He didn't reply but instead leaned forward and put his soft lips on mine.

I smiled into the kiss and began playing with the hairs on the nape of his neck. One of his hands gripped my hip while the other trailed my side. He ran his tongue on my bottom lip and I happily opened my mouth to allow it dance with mine.

I moaned and tugged at his hair.

'This is very different' Tala teased.

'Oh hush Tala. He's our mate and I couldn't resist any longer. Besides I trust him and I know he won't hurt us' I replied then shut her out and focused on my mate.

He left my lips and trailed kisses from my cheek to my neck. I moved my head to the side to give him more access. I moaned when he reached the place where he'd leave him mark and felt him suck and nip at the area.

The sound of the doorbell broke us out of our moment and we both groaned. He placed one more kiss on my neck before standing up and walking to the door.

He came back with our dinner in hand.

I smiled and sat up on the couch. He handed me my food while he set his on the table and went to get forks and drinks.

I switched on the tv and put on a random movie.

"What did you put on?" He asked as he sat down and tucked me into his side.

"Spiderman" I shrugged and began eating my Chinese. He nodded and ate his food.

We spent the rest of the evening cuddled up on the couch watching random movies and talking.

"When do I have to go to the council with your dad?" I asked as he stood to turn the tv off.

"I'm not sure to be honest. I'll ask him tomorrow and let you know" he replied then picked me up in his arms and carried me upstairs.

"I can walk you know" I laughed.

"So possessive" I giggled then closed my eyes.

"Well you're mine and mine only. And may the Goddess help whoever tries to take you away from me"

"Noah, Charlotte and I are going for a walk" I informed him as Charlie and I left the house and began making our way towards town.

"Be careful Rosiane" he warned in reply.

"We will" I replied then closed off the link.

Charlotte and I walked for another 15 minutes until we left the forest and entered the nearby town.

This is a human town but some pack members live or own businesses here. We all live civilly amongst one another and there's certain rules in place to ensure the safety of the humans and our secret.

Rule 1: No shifting in front of humans.

That's a pretty straight forward rule. If you break it you're brought to the council and they decide your punishment.
