"Zander, it's lovely seeing you again after all these years" my brother proclaimed.

"Wish I could say the same" Zander sneered in reply. Cain rolled his eyes and he moved his gaze onto me.

"Well hello little sister" Cain greeted with a coy smile.

"Cain" I nodded blankly in greeting.

"Well now that the greetings are out of the way, are you two ready to leave?" Cain asked, his lips now set in straight line.

"Cain why do you want us? To play happy siblings?" I stated and rolled my eyes.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out little sister" he winked before turning to Zander then back to me.

"So I'm guessing by the looks on your faces that you will not be surrendering yourselves?" Cain questioned as he tilted his head in a childish manner.

"Cain please. We don't have to have any bloodshed. Just come back home and we can be a family again" I pleaded. He snapped his head in my direction and wore an angry scowl on his face.

"Family?! My family left me for dead when I was still a child. They never looked for me! As far as I'm concerned my family is dead" Cain spat furiously which made me flinch.

"Cain please. I didn't have the best life growing up either. My childhood was pretty much a living hell but I found my mate and I was reunited with my family again. Please come back home. Make our family whole again" I pleaded desperately.

"Why would I come back home? There's nothing there for me" he glared.

"Yes there is. Your family; me, Zander, dad and you might even meet your mate Cain!" I exclaimed, finding some hope that I'm actually changing his mind.

"I don't have a mate. People like me don't have mates Rosiane"

"Everyone has a mate Cain. I know you do. All you have to do is look for her, I'll help you. Please Cain, you can be happy again. Please just come home and stop this war"

Cain was silent for a while but he looked back up at me with cold, emotionless eyes before speaking.

"If you won't be surrendering yourselves, prepare for war. I will be coming back with my pack in a matter of days. Until then" he nodded then turned around, his men followed obediently behind him.

I collapse onto the ground and began crying.

He turned around as I shut of the water and wrapped the towel around me. I stepped out and was immediately pulled into his chest. I let out out a breath and relaxed in mate's arms.

"We'll figure something out sweetheart" Noah reassured me but I just sighed, not fully believing we would.

He hooked his arm under my legs and carried me into the room then gently placed me on the bed. Noah then walked into the closet and came out with one of his shirts.

"Arms up" he ordered quietly and I complied, allowing him to slip his shirt over my head. He tugged the towel off my body and went back into the closet coming out with my underwear. I blushed at the lace panty he chose but put it on anyways.

"What are you thinking about?" He asked softly as he laid beside me with his arm around my waist and my head on his chest.

"People are going to die because of me Noah and I can't- I can't-" I mumbled but a sob cut off my sentence.

He tightened his hold around me and brought me closer to him. I turned my head into his chest and continued crying.

"It isn't your fault sweetheart. Cain chose to do this and we tried to stop him. There's nothing we can do other then fight back and protect each other and the pack" he mumbled reassuringly and kissed the top of my head.
