"Fine then but you're staying with me so I can keep an eye on you" he frowned then pecked my forehead.

"Well I'm not complaining" I joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Noah smiled then turned around, gesturing for me to get on his back which I did. I waved to Zander and mouthed to him that I'm fine and to stop worrying. He frowned in reply but nodded anyways.

Noah then carried us outside and towards Luke and Charlotte who were observing the training.

"How's it going?" Noah questioned and stopped beside Luke. I smiled at him in greeting and he nodded back.

"Good. I think having the vampires training with them has helped" Luke explained.

"Do you think we'll outnumber them considering we have the vampires as well?" I wondered as I rested my chin on Noah's shoulder.

"I think we will but there's no knowing for sure Luna" Luke replied.

"Luke how many times have I told you to call me Rosiane" I laughed.

"Sorry Lu- Rosiane" he corrected with a chuckle. I looked at Charlotte to see her smiling at me with a twinkle in her eyes.

"I'm going to look for Marie and Sophie to check up on them" I announced and slid off Noah's back.

"But Rosiane, I need to keep an eye on you in case something happens" my mate frowned with worry.

"Charlie will go with me?" I suggested and looked to her for confirmation and she nodded.

"Fine but Charlotte keep an eye on her, she wasn't feeling well earlier" Noah told her and Charlotte nodded with a smile. I pecked his lips before walking away with Charlie.

"What happened earlier?" Charlotte asked in concern.

"I got sick then felt really tired. But I'm fine now" I shrugged nonchalantly. Charlotte smiled at me before looking ahead again. I scrunched my eyebrows in confusion but didn't question her.

We reached the small playground that we had on the territory for the children and I saw Marie watching Sophie playing with the other kids.

"Good afternoon Marie" I greeted them watched her turn around wearing a soft smile.

"H-Hello Luna, Charlotte" she smiled.

"How are settling in?"

"Good. T-thank you for allowing us t-to s-stay"

"It's no problem"

"All pack members, excluding pack warriors, go to the bunker. Intruders have crossed the territory" Noah voices boomed through the pack link.

We stopped a safe distance away from the pack house and waited. I looked to my right and saw my brother standing beside Hazel who was in her wolf form. Then to my left stood both Luke and Charlotte in their wolf forms.

The sound of pounding footsteps brought my attention away from my fellow pack and to the approaching pack in front of us.

My hand tightened around Noah's as I saw figures emerging through the trees, heading towards us.

"I love you" I whispered to Noah through our mate mindlink.

"I love you too sweetheart" he replied, sending waves of love and comfort through the bond which helped me relax.

Seconds later my brother emerged with his warriors standing behind him.

"This is your last chance sister. Surrender yourselves or face the consequences" Cain sneered as he stood a few meters away from us.

"No. This is your last chance brother. Forget this pointless war and come back home" I exclaimed, clenching my fist at my side.

"We've been through this Rosiane. My family is dead to me. Now either come with me or prepare for all your loved ones to die"

I growled loudly at the threat and that seemed to set everyone off as both sides charged towards one another and began fighting.

Cain headed straight towards me, hands raised and sent me flying backwards into a pair of fighting wolves. I groaned as my head connected with the hard ground but quickly got to my feet.
