Camry's POV
I think the saltwater has gotten to me.
Its 10:59 and I have just woken up.
I HAVE HOMEWORK!
Shooting out of bed, I hope in the shower quickly, hoping Tyler was just affected as me since I knew for sure my mom was home.
Cue the sounds of slurred yelling.
As soon as I'm done with my shower I pull of grey joggers with a white T-shirt and throw my bag over my shoulder. My teeth were already brushed and my hair...well, it's not that bad. I slip on my flip-flops before running to the neighbor's house.
Releasing a breath, I knock anxiously, playing with my fingers as last night's memories coarse through my head.
The door doesn't open and I furrow my eyebrows knocking again.
Maybe he's still asleep?
One the verge of leaving, the door swings open to reveal a cute squinting Tyler. He was shirtless and you know something I've never seen before?
Nipple rings.
"What the heck is that?" Is the first thing that leaves my mouth as he groans.
"What time is it?" He sniffs, his voice deeper from his sleep and my eyes widen.
"I woke you up? Sorry, I can come back later -"
"Nah, it's fine." He sighs, stepping aside.
"How come I haven't noticed those before?" I ask, my face blazing a bit as he shrugs.
"Some times I take them off to clean the rings."
Move your eyes Camry!
"O-okay." I look away hurriedly as he smirks.
"Is it a problem?"
"Not at all," I say quickly and he snorts, before running a hand through his hair.
"Let me freshen up, you can wait in my room."
"In your room?" I repeat my voice a bit high and he tilts his head.
"Yes...in my room."
"I'll wait out here." I point to the sofa and he rolls his eyes, grabbing my arm.
"Let's go upstairs beautiful.'
" but you need privacy!"
"Not really."
This boy is going to be the end of me one day.
Three almost unbearable moments later we're done. I had completed my homework while Tyler worked on some questions and I had absolutely no reason to stay here any longer.
But my teenage hormones were out of control as I swung my foot beneath me, Tyler sitting near me.
"Are you nervous for the test?" I ask him.
"Nah, it's not like my football position isn't threatened or anything." He says sarcastically and I let out a small smile.
"You'll do great...I believe in you." I add the last part for a bit of motivation and his eyes snap to mine.
