For the entire day, Peter has been a little enjoyment for me. He was the one to borrow me notes when the teacher spoke to fast and pass me little grins as the class got boring.
Gosh, he was heaven-sent.
Eventually, lunchtime came and I spent it outside, with Peter.
"I like bacon too much." He blurts and I snort.
"What! Random statement?"
"Woah Woah she knows me like a book now." I throw back my head, laughing like a hyena while he just shoves my chocolate in his mouth sneakily.
Tyler's POV
I watch her from afar, leaning against the school walls. This morning I was a complete jerk to her but that male...he was entering forbidden territory.
One look at her eyes, one glance into her soul. It was an attraction that I wanted to deepen and this...human was emotionally blocking my entrance.
"Oo looks like someone isn't going to win the bet." Spencer taunts and I clench my jaw.
So that's what it all was. Just a bet that I eagerly wanted to win then I would let her free to that guy with the weird hair, but something about that thought didn't settle well with me.
Pushing myself off the wall, I quickly walked towards them, his eyes widen once they take note of me and I ensure to pin him with a scowl.
"Camry," I call and she stiffens. "I need to talk to you."
"I'm busy right now Tyler." She says without looking at me and I clench my jaw.
"It's important." I persist and she sighs exasperatedly.
"No. I'll see you in the library then you can-" filled with frustration, I harshly push her friend off the seat, grabbing him by his collar before he could hit the ground.
"Tyler!"
"Come with me or I will beat him to the pulp," I growl lowly. I couldn't help it. Jealously was an unknown feeling and I hated that she was choosing this ugly wimp instead of me.
She agreed this time and I let him go smugly.
"Camry!' He calls and I fist clench.
"I'll be right back Peter." She breathes giving him a small smile and it irritates me. As soon as we're in the halls I drag her into an empty classroom.
"What is wrong with you?" She snaps angrily and I shrug.
"I'm sorry for this morning, I shouldn't have been so-" I would've finished but a heavy hand collides with my cheek and I almost gasp.
Jeez.
"You don't freaking control me Gold, just like I don't control you. Don't ever threaten my friends again." She glares at me and I can't help as my heart rate speeds up, she was utterly beautiful even when angry.
I sound like one of those nerds in drama class.
"And don't threaten me. Got it?" Afraid that I may receive more than just a slap this time, I nod. "You're forgiven." She clears her throat.
"Only if you apologize to Peter." My eyebrows go skyrocketing.
"Uh. No." I scoff.
I will never apologize to another dude.
"Then I guess you'd like to fail then." She smirks and I tilt NY head.
"Nice try but may I remind you you're also failing if I fail?" Her smugness falls and I'm the one doing the victory dance.
"Whatever. But just leave him alone, I'll see you later." I don't stop her, mainly because I was distracted by the way her butt moved, and her waves lay just above it.
Keep it in your pants Gold.
Happy thoughts.
