"Well the first thing you have to do is get through your shift which will be the easiest part of all this. After that you will be out of it for a day or two because the shift will take all the energy out of you. You will need to as much as you can before the shift when you wake up so you will have more energy to burn off. It will also make it easier on your body since it will be feeding off the energy from the food and not your body."
"Next thing you will need to do is tell the Alpha King and Jay's family tell them to start recruiting wolves for the war. You will need as many as you can get. If they can defend themselves and fight they can join. Then go to your pack with Maximum and tell them the same thing. Start going and recruiting people with them. When you get to California and Texas there will be wolves there that will be of great use to you. I cannot tell you their names, but you will know who they are when you see them."
"The last thing you will have to do is train. You will have to train physically and mentally. You will have to learn how to calm your mind in stressful situations especially where your mate is concerned. You will have to learn to harness and control the new abilities that will come with your new wolf. You have to become physically stronger if you want to bring down the Rogue King. Your wolf will bring great strength with her, but you have to remember that the Rogue King has years of training on you. You must train hard and never give in. Do you think you can do this Sophia?"
I lean back in my chair taking it all in and making sure I will remember all of this when I wake up. I nod my head at the Moon Goddess. I know that I will never give in. I won't stop until I'm not breathing anymore.
"I can do it. I can do the training and recruiting. What will happen if I die instead of the Rogue King though? I have to know."
"No one knows for sure, but we all have seen different futures if you do not succeed and none of them are good Sophia. You won't fail though Sophia. I have faith in you. I know that you will win. I know that you won't let the Rogue King get away. You will do whatever it takes to make sure that the Rogue King doesn't come out of this war alive." She says with a confident tone
I see a glint in her eyes like she knows what is going to happen, even if she said she didn't. Even if she doesn't want to tell me what becomes of us if I'm not victorious, I refuse to take that as an answer. I need to know what will happen.
I know that I should fight, but I can't risk the safety of my pup. I curl into the fetal position and lock my hands together refusing to let go. As he starts kicking me all I want to do is fight back, but I can't for the sake of my child.
"You know it's no use to hide him from me. You will never get out of here and your stomach will become too big to hide. Even if you did have him where would he go? He would die eventually of starvation. It's inevitable, might as well be sooner rather than later. Besides this is no world for any good pure wolf anymore. On the other hand it would be fun to force you to watch as I make your son grow up into the ultimate evil weapon for me."
He finally leaves and I can't help but think he is right as I look out the window and see the chaos that is now called America. It looks like a barren waste land. Once the Rogue King won the war Jay's family and mine fled, we lived peacefully for about two years, and then they caught us. While we live peacefully in Greenland the rogues had taken control over America and most of Europe, Africa, and Australia. They burnt down all the places where the people refused to cooperate. They left the bodies wherever they were when they killed them. This world was horrible and grey. There was no hope anymore. They found us and killed everyone except Jay and I, but sometimes I wish I was dead.
