The last thing I hear before I am snapped out of it is Jay's screeching.
I see the Moon Goddess again and she wipes my tears away. I nod at her, I had finally got my answer.
"Are you ready to go back now?" She asks me.
I look at her with a steel reserve and a determined look and say, "Yes."
I woke up and saw Jay and the rest of his family standing over me. Jay was holding my head in his lap. He has tears in his eyes, and running down his face. His mom and dad are on either side of him holding his shoulders. Diana has tears streaming down her face and George looks very sadly down at his son. I don't understand why they are all crying.
I look up a Jay again and touch his face with my hands, "Why are you crying?"
Jay shuts his eyes tight and then opens them. When his eyes connect with mine, he lets out a strangled sigh. He grabs me and hugs me against his chest tightly. When he doesn't let go for a while I decide to say something.
"What are you doing Jay? Are you ok? What happened?" I ask him all at once.
"I am fine. I can't believe you are asking me that after you just died in my arms. I should be asking you what happened. One minute you are talking to my mom the next you are on the floor and you aren't breathing. You died for at least three minutes Sophia. I didn't think you were going to come back to me. Don't ever do that to me again." Jay says very fiercely and hugs me impossibly closer to him.
"Sorry, I will explain in a minute, but do you have any food left?" I ask him once I remember my conversation with the Moon Goddess.
He looks at me confused and a little concerned, but he carries me to the kitchen anyways. He sat me down at the bar in the middle of the kitchen and got the left overs from breakfast back out. While he was heating them up I started telling him what had happened.
"Ok so the Moon Goddess told me that the fates pretty much killed me so you would kiss me to speed up the process of turning me into the white wolf. She said I have to get as much energy as I can before I shift so it won't be as bad. She also told me to meet with the Alpha King, train, and recruit in the United States. That is all really." I explained to him.
They stare at me as if they don't believe what is coming out of my mouth, "Don't look at me like that, and I am telling you all the truth. Pretty soon you will see that I was correct when I am a white wolf in front of you."
They all kind of sobered up a little. The younger boys didn't know what was happening so none of this really hit them like it did the others. They looked as if they didn't know what to and really they didn't so I don't blame them. I just shake my head at them with a smirk on my face.
"Don't worry that is the least of our problems. After I shift we have to convene with the big bad Alpha King." I say to them to ease their fears of my upcoming shift.
"So what are we going to do until you shift?" Asks Levi.
"Well I need to gather up all the strength I can muster. I kind of figured you guys could maybe arrange a meeting with the Alpha King." I said with pleading eyes.
