"Wait here." He said, looking around.

I leaned on the concrete wall, while Lucas was carefully walking up the stairs. The stench in the building was unbearable, it smelled like cooked meat or some meat soup. Sort of sour, gross scent. Lucas was only gone for several minutes, but he came back with backpack full of clothes and a photo camera in his hands.

"What's that?" I pointed towards the camera.

"It's a Polaroid camera, the one that mom gave me."

"Polaroid?"

"It does this." He moved so fast I could hardly comprehend what was going on. Before I knew it he was pressing his lips onto mine, and because I was surprised I forgot to close my eyes and I just stared at his long, black eyelashes. He seemed so peaceful with his eyes closed, like an angel in his forevermore sleep. Suddenly a bright flash hurt my eyes.

I groaned rubbing them in discontent.

"Here." He offered me a small piece of paper that he was holding in his hands.

It was a picture of us. Just now. Kissing. He looked gorgeous, like usual, and I looked...surprised. No, let's make that into - I looked like I was about to be assaulted or something. Talk about not being photogenic.

"Polaroid camera, instant pictures." Lucas explained, grinning.

"I look horrible." I groaned again.

He tilted his head and looked at the picture. "No, you look adorable. Like a scared kitten." He laughed.

I rolled my eyes, not even noticing the scent of rotten meat anymore.

"We're gonna make another one." He smiled and pulled me closer towards him. "After all, we've got the entire day ahead of us." Lucas pressed a gentle kiss on my forehead.

We were walking around the city, hand in hand. The air was cold and the city was half empty, but I enjoyed the solitude of space and time. The streets were paved with small granite cubes, probably still from the Roman era, and the bridges were intertwined like ancient lovers, catching eachother's existence, but never quite reaching it. The city was old, filled with copies of Greek and Roman architecture, and everything was connected by this gorgeous green river, which was filled with secrets and forgotten stories.

"Are you bothered by..." I was embarrassed to finish that sentence.

"Yeah?" He turned his head towards me, making a few strains of his hair slip down his smooth skin.

"...me. I mean, like...I'm not...um, well, experienced, and I know all other girls are, and I don't know about that sex stuff, and I know I should because I'm your girlfriend and all..."

"Skye, stop. You don't have to know that stuff, and don't feel pressured into anything just because we're dating now. Besides," He did that naughty smile of his. "I'm gonna teach you everything you want to know."

"O...Okay." I was blushing. "What...What do you think about it? I mean...sex..." I whispered that word.

"Sex?" Lucas said in a normal tone of voice. "Well, I did it for money - which was wrong, but that didn't mean anything to me. Otherwise I think it's a normal, fun activity." A huge grin appeared on his face.

"Fun?"

"Yeah. You know, people give it either too little or too much meaning. Some still think of it like something dirty and bad, or like a sin or something, and don't get me wrong, I respect the people that want to wait until they're married, but I also respect the people that have sex just because it's fun. People make up rules, like - wait until the third date or wait until you know each other for five months, but I think that's all rubbish. There's no such thing as the appropriate amount of time. You do it when you want to do it, with whoever you want to do it. It's as simple as that."
