Girard's point of view...

Billy's leave from his life brought loneliness and restlessness. He spent more time in office than house. And that was why whenever he was unavailable to me called via phone we knew it that we can find him in one place only-his office.

On the day of hearing, we saw him crying hysterically for Billy and after that he forgot now to smile. Or I should say, he forgot how to respond emotions.

A month has passed to that day but it already looks like decades moved by, and we couldn't make a move ourselves. Kiara's leave was a living cursed on Raven.

Never mind, I won't think about that woman as I have promised my brother. Later that night after Billy and his stuff was taken away from dad's house, Raven took a promise from me. He asked me to never discuss her, to never raise any topic which has her mention.

The doors of the elevator split opened, I stepped out on the fifteenth floor. The entire floor was isolated with no human present. And the credit definitely goes to my brother. He isolated himself from the world so badly that he separated everything from the world- his cabin too.

He asked to leave the entire floor alone for himself, Raven restricted even his secretary to have an office here. He just engulfed himself in a cocoon of misery and dead silence.

I did not knock on the door before entering his room. He knew that it could be me or dad to enter his room without any permission. "Hi!" I wished him while he looked up from the screen of his laptop looking as always- emotionless.

His eyes stared me with no hint of softness. His once pinkish lips were dry and a shade darker. That is because he have picked up the addiction of smoking after her departure. She hated seeing him smoke and to hurt her feelings, Raven began to smoke.

Leave that, his cheeks that used to be bubbled up like balloons and adorned with dimples- have now reduced. They looked more like a pale patient's cheek; whereas his stubble that used to suit him and take away the hearts of the people who set their eyes on him; have now grown up thick.

"Hey!" He replied me looking back in the laptop.

The look of his face told me he had cried some hours ago. He still pretended as if nothing happened. But he cannot hide it from me, I know that very well. "Eh can you keep that stupid laptop of yours aside! I want to talk to you." He was not ready to listen to me or react to my presence in his cabin, so I simply pulled his lappy away from his reach.

I placed it next to me on the chair. I can't stop my smile seeing that his eyes were now finally giving me the attention I needed. However, it soon vanished when he announced, "I know you want to talk about your encounter with her!" i can't suppress my gasps.

How did he know about that? As far as I know I never talked to him until now.

My this confusion was also cleared by him, "Shania called me, she sent me a clip of you and her bumping in her hotel in Serbia." Although I never expected that from Shania but I wondered why would she do that.

Was not that enough she took Billy away from Raven? Wasn't that enough that she hurt him in the worst ways. Then why did she call him.

I was mad, the way Raven serenely and painfully smiled seeing my face I understood, he can see that too. I wanted to ask him as to why he took her call but before that, "She met Shania" he disclosed confusing me more.

"Yep, she also met Billy who ended crying looking at her. She was with Payton, wasn't she?" I can't answer, he was right. Raven laughed sarcastically, "They had gone to meet Shania to sign a deal. She is going to get married to Payton." I can't breathe, that piece of info was too much to believe.

I trust everything that Raven said so far but I don't trust the news that she is getting married to Payton. If she really wanted to– then she had not been crying like that when she bumped into me.

"Nooo!" Her scream of refusal echoed in the surrounding context.

The birds that were picking up on grains in the piece of garden across her flew back in the air scared at the intensity of her scream.

Kiara burst into tears, her lashes wetted with the drops of saline water falling back to back on her cheek. She was vulnerably regretting her deeds alas, there was no one to give her a shoulder to cry until, "Kiara!" Payton appeared. He pulled her in his arms and placed a trail of kisses on her hair.

He does not have to ask her the reason behind her sudden out break. What else can it be than the memories of Billy? She was dying every second after the other day's experience.

"It's alright babe. Stop crying. Nothing is going to change with your crying. We will have to work physically for that." He rubbed her back since her cries were taking the shape of hysterical sobs.

Payton sighed. Nothing was calming her down. "In fact, I got a good piece of news for you Kiara. Tomorrow there is the third anniversary party of Marshall jewellery. It's one of the biggest jewellery companies in USA. And guess what, according to my sources, all the CEOs and top businessmen have been invited to join the party. I also got an invitation for the same." he informed her.

She has still not been able to put back her guilt and stop crying. Moreover, she did not understand what was he intending to say until he took his name, "Raven will be there too. Yes Kiara, Raven and Shania both of them will be there. It can be our chance to take step towards that change. Are you getting what I want to say!" he pulled her away from the hug staring in her eyes.

"Are you sure he will come?" She innocently asked her, to which Payton nodded in yes.

His source never gave him false information. It always proved correct and relevant. Hopefully, Raven will turn in the party too.
