--- Aurora's POV ----

"Rory." Rhea cooed in my ear. "Rory, I know you're not asleep. Talk to me." Rhea kept insisting.

After being checked by the pack doctor last night and making sure that Emma and the rest of the pack were okay, I came straight home and went to bed.

My body felt sore and heavy, as if I've been working out with weights.

Wolfgang kept pestering me, insisting for me to stay at the mansion but I really didn't want to. I wanted to be alone and get some rest, but somehow my mind wouldn't shut off. Something was nagging at it and it wasn't Rhea, because I made sure to block her out since I found out she spoke with Cronnos and told him that I knew about the conversation our mate had with Remus.

I know there was no reason for her not to communicate with him. They are fated mates, and they love each other in unconditionally. They want to be together, but its Wolfgang and I who just can't be.

Still, something else was what kept me up. A constant feeling of a new arrival. Could it be that I was still nervous about the outbreak last night with the hunters?

We were very much vulnerable last night to them, and if it wasn't for my powers we'd all be dead.

"Rory." Rhea whined.

"What is it Rhea?" I asked as I sighed sitting up from my bed.

"I need to go out for a run." She said.

"Really Rhea? Now?!" I asked exasperated. We just freaking had a major duel last night and I feel completely drained but she's ready to run around?

"Yeah! I've been locked up for too long and I didn't really get a piece of the action last night. You had dominance most of the time." She whined. "Let's go! We're danger free now that we sacred off that Wendell guy." She added, and she was right. She's been locked up since we came back from our trip.

Rhea stood behind some bushes just before the opening that led to the lake, taking coverage on the shadows the trees casted.

The outline was of a woman, at least in her thirties, with long blue hair that flowed with the gentle breeze. She wore a baby pink shoulder less maxi dress and was barefooted, even though the day was chilly.

I couldn't make out her face.

"There is no need to hide my child. I am not here to harm you or your kind." She suddenly spoke shocking me at first. How did she know I was here? I walked out of the bushes. There was no need to hide anymore if I was already caught, plus, something about this woman's aura feels safe.

"There are many questions that need to be answered, but first, let me introduce myself to you, Aurora." She said as she turned and face me. When her piercing grey eyes met mine I was left with my mouth having open.

"Eleanor."
