"Then why does she watch it?"
"We kind of forced her many times." He stated while chuckling deeply making my insides tingle.
"Scary movie sounds good." I told him as I backed away from his warm arms and towards our bedroom. I went forward to our closet and picked up the dirty clothes and went along my way to the laundry room. Nathan had an automatic laundry machine so it wasn't hard unlike when I was in that prison, I had to wash by hands.
While I was done, I heard my phone ring. Walking towards it, I picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey girl, it's me Valeria." I instantly smiled; it's been too long since I meet her.
"How you doing? How's Darrell?" I adjusted the phone between my ear and shoulder as I cleaned up the kitchen table.
"We are doing great; he has been learning new things every day." I smiled at that. It won't be long when I have my own.
"That's good to know." I tell her as I sat on the couch of the living room with Nathan who was watching the news.
"Anyways I wanted to ask if you are free for an hour or two. It's been long since we had a meet up." I hummed in agreement while Nathan pulled me closer to him with his face still stuck in the TV.
"Is Bella joining?" I asked her.
"No, I asked her but she was busy."
"Okay text me the place and I'll be there. What time though?" I sat up straight as Nathan gave me quizzical look.
"Meet me in an hour." She hung up as I turned to face Nathan.
"Valeria wanted to meet." He hummed as his eyes went to my lips, as a small smirk played on his lips.
"I'll drop you off." He told me as he leaned forward and pecked my lips again and again making me giggle.
"I need to get ready Nathan." I mumbled as he placed kisses along my jaw, leaving a wet trail.
"You can show up a little late." As he spoke, I rolled my eyes. Suddenly realization hit me, Lydia is still in the house.
"N- Nathan! Lydia is still here!!" I breathed out. He didn't seem to care as he kept torturing me.
"Mrs. Rivera, there is a letter for you. It says it's from Valeria." I jerked up as I heard her distant voice coming from the kitchen. I pushed Nathan as he groaned and sat up with his eyes over my neck. He smirked at me as I stared at him in confusion. I turned to gaze where his eyes were and saw a whole lot of hickeys over my neck. I gasped as I hit his arm while he chuckled.
"Don't do that! Now I have to hide these again." I told him as I stood up with him gazing at me, that beautiful and devilish smirk printed on his face. I saw Lydia coming up and I quickly pulled my hair down covering my hickey making Nathan laugh again.
"Here the letter." She handed me letter as I looked at it, curiously.
I turned to face Valeria and quickly told her to follow me. She curiously gazed at me as I being impatient took a hold of her hand and ran across the restaurant that was inside the mall. I pushed past people and went in a small store as I blew a breath of relief.
"What is going on, Janet?" I suddenly went speechless. What am I supposed to tell her? I cannot tell her no matter what. I don't want to get her into trouble.
"I just saw some guy looking over at us and it was really creepy. He really looked bad so I took us away from him." She faced me with horror as I was breathing hard.
"You should have told me so I could have informed the security." I shrugged trying to act normal.
"At the moment I couldn't think." I reasoned as she nodded.
"Want to have a drink at my house." She asked, smiling as I felt relief that she didn't ask anything else.
"Sure."
*********
"Can I ask you something?" Valeria said as she sat beside me with the cup of coffee in her delicate hands.
"Sure anything." She was fidgeting as she lowered her eyes and then looked at me with pity.
"Where did you got those scars?" She blunted as my eyes widened. I knew she and Bella saw them but I didn't think she would ask about them so soon. All those painful- No I will not think about them. I shut my eyes tight as I closed off all those feelings.
