"It will be great if we three meet up this weekend. I really need to tell you guys so much." Bella squealed as she wanted to tell us about her new boyfriend.
"Calm down woman, we will definitely meet up." Valeria said as I hummed.
"Anyways I got to leave. See you soon." I spoke as they said their 'bye'. I walked into the bedroom to see Nathan sitting without shirt on. I took a hold of the shirt that was lying on the floor and threw it at him making him chuckle as he winked at me.
"I'm leaving, will be back in 30 min." I told Nathan as I kissed his cheek. He was putting on his shirt as he pulled me back and stole a kiss on the lips making me roll my eyes. I went to the dressing table and tried to comb my disheveled hair that Nathan just ruined. Giving up, I put them in a bun and took the purse with Nathan's card and some cash.
"Take Conner." Nathan ordered as I rolled my eyes again and walked out of the room. As I was about to go out, Conner started walking beside me. We were quiet as I took the grocery list in my hands and walked on the streets. I stepped in the grocery store and started buying the stuff we need. Conner helped me carry the stuff as it wasn't much.
We were almost to the house when someone caught me by my hair and dragged me into an alley. I screamed as Conner tried to catch the sculpt behind me. I struggled to get out and so did Conner but someone got a hold of him as well. He was fighting the one guy with black mask on his face and succeeded as that person hit the ground but suddenly someone hit him in the head from the back with a stick making me tear up. I watched Conner dropped on the ground and I couldn't even speak as my mouth was covered up with a hand.
"A bodyguard, seriously? He couldn't even defend himself. I could easily take you away right now." She said making me shiver, her clutch on my hair got tighter as she laughed watching me moan in pain.
"Get away from them and come back to me or I will kill each and every one you know one by one. I might deliver their body parts to you." I cried harder as I watched blood coming out of Conner's head.
"Now I will give you time. Make your decision quick because the next time I come to visit. I want you to go with me willingly." She pushed me to the wall making my head hit the stone brick hard as the two men and Sierra ran to the car. I sobbed as I crawled to Conner and placed his bleeding head on my lap. I quickly took out my phone with shaking fingers, I dialed Nathan.
"N- Nathan." I whimpered as he picked up the phone in one ring.
"Janet?? Where are you, why are you crying?" He started questioning me quickly as I couldn't stop crying.
"Near the house at the back alley." I told him as I pressed my hand on Conners head to stop the blood. I didn't know if it was okay to even to do that.
"What happened?" He sounded angry as he was breathing heavily.
"Promise me, no matter what the consequences, you do not go to that woman. Even if she threatens to kill me." I gulped as I thought of what she said.
Get away from them and come back to me or I will kill each and every one you know one by one. I might deliver their body parts to you.
I can't do it; I can't put anyone's lives at risk before mine. In this case, I can give myself away for them to be happy and breathing.
"She threatened me." Nathan parked the car as his attention was now full on me. His jaw clenched hearing my words as he raised his eyebrow.
"What did she say?" He questioned, his voice low and menacing.
"That if I don't go with her willingly, she will kill everyone around me." When those words slipped my mouth, Nathan couldn't stop cursing and hit the steering wheel making me get scared. All of sudden, he took me in his arms and hugged the life out of me.
"Never Janet, I won't forgive you if you leave me. I will catch that fucking piece of shit. That bitch! And you will always stay with me. Okay?" I was already crying as he kissed my forehead multiple times, I didn't want to lose him either and I was scared of what could happen. My world will crumble if I lose him.
