"I'm sorry Damian, I'm just really tired".

"I know, it's fine. I love you, goodnight", he says seductively.

"I love you too", I say. He kisses me on the forehead. After that he leaves the room and I go back to the bed. I sigh as I rest my head on the pillow. I hope I haven't hurt his feelings, I didn't mean to say I don't want to. I feel so bad. After playing the past few seconds over in my head again I fall asleep. The next day I wake up. Damian had his arms around me. I look at the alarm clock, it was 8:33 A.M. School starts in 27 minutes. Ugh! No! I groan and move around in the bed to get in a comfortable position. Damian chuckles and kisses me on the head.

"Come on Damian, we need to go", I say.

"Can we take the day off", he mumbles.

"We can't just miss school because we're lazy and don't want to".

"Well you're sick, so you need the day off so I'm taking the day off to look after you".

"I'm not sick anymore and neither of us are taking the day off". He groans and gets off the bed. "We have to be quick, school's soon". He nods and gets dressed. I do the same and put on a short grey draped skirt, black tights, grey knee high boots, white top and black cardigan. I take my grey bag off the hanger and we go downstairs.

"You guys got up late", Devon notes. I nod and my mother passes me our breakfast. I eat it quickly and then check my watch. Dammit twenty minutes left. "You ready now? We have to go". Damian grabs his keys off the counter and we go outside to his car. I get in with Damian and Devon. My Dad takes the others in his car. Damian drives while Devon stayed in the back with me. "You all right, Amber? You went to bed pretty early last night and you never said goodnight".

"I was just really tired", I say, taking my eyes off his gaze. I look out the window, if Devon looks me in the eye I know I'll spill everything. I can't tell Devon that I think I'm pregnant, he would kill me.

"Amber, what's up? You've been really distant lately", Damian says as he looks at me through the driver mirror while also keeping an eye on the road. For some unknown reason I started crying. Devon pulls me to his chest quickly and I get his top wet, he didn't seem to mind. "Amber!"

"It's okay Damian, I got her", Devon says, stopping Damian from pulling over the car. Damian continues to drive but keeps looking at me then the road and then back at me. If he doesn't keep focusing on the road we could crash. "Shh Amber, it's okay. Everything's going to be okay". I calm down and Devon wipes my tears away. "What's wrong little sis?"

"Nothing", I say softly.

"Baby it isn't nothing if you're crying about it", Damian says.

"Amber?" Ellen, Rachel and Hannah call. I guess not.

"Leave me alone guys, I need some space", I say.

"But Amber, what's going on? Why are you in such a mood, has something happened?" Rachel asks.

"Nothing, well I'm not sure yet maybe", I say uncertainly then bite my lip.

"Tell us, we're your best friends. You can tell us anything" Hannah says.

"I know I can, just not now. Like I said already I need some space", I say then walk off to class. I had History with Devon now and I wasn't feeling too good. I felt sick again and distraught. Devon was already in the class waiting for me. I sit beside him and he looks at me with worry and sadness. "Devon, does Mom have the day off today?"
