"No, you turned weeks ago and your scent changed when you became one but now it's after happening again, that's not supposed to happen unless you're preggers," he affrims. I look down at the ground to avoid his gaze. I know if I look up I'll tell him it all so I have to stay looking at the ground. "Amber, look at me and tell me what you're keeping, is this true?" Amber, you can do this! Don't look at him!!!
"Okay, fine, but you can't tell anyone!" I confirm, looking up at him.
"You're knocked up?!" he asks rather loudly.
"Quiet down, people can hear!" He look behind him and makes sure no one is watching or listening. "No one can know," I repeat.
"Why didn't you tell me, we've been friends for like 13 years?! I'm guessing Damian knows because he asked us to look after you."
"Yeah, he was the first person to know then our parents, Devon and Paul."
"PAUL? Why the fuck does he know?"
"He found out, we're not telling anyone till like next week, can you please keep this between us?"
"Of course I will, congratulations, Amber!" He tackles me with a bear hug and I laugh against his chest.
"Um... it's um... a bit too tight, Jason, I don't want the babies to get hurt," I stutter, grabbing my belly to make sure they're not getting squished.
"Oh my god, yes, I'm so sorry!" He pulls back quickly. "Wait, did I just hear you say babies!" I smile as I nod and he grins at me. "Damn, girl, you're going to get huge!"
"I know!" I laugh. "I'm starting to get big now anyways." I pat my round bump and he grins at it. "I didn't tell you guys because I wanted my life to be a bit normal before everything changed and I also thought you guys would stop hanging out with me or call me stuff."
"Amber, why would we do that! We all love you, we've been friends since we've been kids, we're not going to all stop being friends with you just because you're having twins. Lots of pack members have had kids young, you're not the first. Wait, remember a few weeks ago, you and Damian had a huge fight, was it about this?"
"We found out the week before that, he was so happy and I took away his happiness by saying I was giving them up because I didn't feel ready but I changed my mind and now everything's back to normal."
"Thank God. I see now why you're not doing gym, everyone is so jealous of you and don't know why you don't have to do it because you can't be sick the same time every week."
"Damian doesn't want me to get hurt and the first week I had some morning sickness anyway."
"Wow, I still can't believe it, no wonder he's grinning the whole fucking time. All werewolves are proud when they're expecting, especially the Alpha. I'll offer him my congratulations next time I see him."
"Pleeeeeease!" he begs, giving me his puppy dog eyes. I shake my head and he stops. "Fine, you can go if you want, Jason, I'll look after her now," Damian says.
"Okay then, see you two later Mr Baby Daddy and Ms Baby Mommy," Jason winks.
"Quiet down," I chuckle and Jason walks off laughing. "I hope they all react like him, he was so sweet, so was Paul."
"What about me?" Damian smirks.
"You were the sweetest," I say truthfully then give him a kiss. I lean against my locker and he holds onto me tight as we make out against them. "This pregnancy is making me really horny and I really wanna fuck you now," I whisper seductively in his ear.
"You were like this before you were pregnant anyways. We can do it when we get home, baby," he winks. "Dr Carter said it was okay to do it."
"Good, I love you."
"I love you more!" He brings his lips to mine and stops me from saying that he was wrong and I was the one who loved him more. As his lips pull back his tingles stop. He takes both my hands and swings them which makes me smile. I get on my tippy toes and kiss him on the nose. He chuckles and nuzzles his nose against mine in an Eskimo kiss. I stare into those, loving dark brown eyes and smile happily. He was all mine, I was going to have his kids and I was going to spend the rest of my life with him and our children. "I promise you everything's going to be okay."
