"Thanks, guys, now let's go," I say. My mum kisses my forehead and we hug one more last time before I get in the car with Damian, Dean, Ellen and Simon. During the car journey I started feeling sick. I was going to puke any minute, I could feel it at the back of my throat. I cover my mouth and take deep breaths.
"Darling, what's wrong?" Damian asks with concern, leaning in to look at me.
"I'm fine, just some morning sickness, it will pass," I sigh. He takes my hand and squeezes it then kisses my forehead.
"Do you get it often?" Ellen asks.
"At least once a week," I complain.
"How do you cope?" Dean asks worriedly.
"It's bearable," I assure.
"If I was you I would have beaten Damian up by now for making you go through that," Simon grins.
"There's an idea," I joke. A smile spreads on Damian's mouth and he kisses me. When we get out of the car I flit to the girls' bathroom with my werewolf speed and puke into a toilet. There were already some girls in the bathroom with me and they look at me with disgust as they try and not get sick themselves. Damian comes in behind me, rubbing my back soothingly.
"Damian, this is the girls' bathroom," I say in-between pukes.
"I don't care, I said I was going to here for you and I am," he says giving me a warm smile. Most girls file out of the bathroom when they see Damian. After I had made sure I wasn't going to get sick again I stand up and rinse my mouth thoroughly. "Are you okay, baby?" He puts his arm around my back and comes closer.
"Yeah, thanks. Sorry about that."
"Don't be." He kisses my cheek and I take his hand and put it on top of my bump. Some of the girls who were still in the bathroom look at his hand with confusion until it clicks in their heads and then they giggle to each other. He caresses around my bump and slides his fingers with mine in a grip as we walk out of the bathroom.
"Dude, what the fuck, that's the girls' bathroom," Paul informs.
"Amber, had some morning sickness, I wasn't going to let her go through it alone," Damian explains.
"That's so sweet!" Hannah coos.
"Are you feeling okay now?" Jason asks.
"Yeah, thanks," I smile. The bell rings and I kiss Damian on the cheek as he says goodbye then I walk off with Jason to class. I could hear my name being murmured in the hall as we walk past everyone. They were all staring at my big baby bump as if I was carrying an alien inside me.
"Forget their stares," Jason smiles supportively, squeezing my hand. I give him a weak but thankful smile. Everyone knows I'm pregnant now... Will my life get better or worse? After school, I go straight upstairs to do my homework; Damian did his in his last double free class and got it all done. It takes me two hours to complete all the writing and learning then I go downstairs to get something to eat.
"What can I make you, darling?" my Mum asks.
"Um....can I have some pickles?" I say. I was really craving them at the moment.
"She's going to get him to get rid of it," Jason grins.
"No," I laugh. "I just want to see him."
"He's in the training hall," Rachel answers.
"Oh, okay, thanks. See you, guys, later," I say, strolling off with my jar of pickles to the training hall. I grab a towel for Damian as I walk towards him. "Hey, Damian." I pass him the towel and he thanks me.
"Hey, baby and um...pickles?" he laughs, giving my pickles a suspicious look.
"Oh, yeah, they're my pickles. I love them!"
"I thought you hated pickles though?"
"I have a pregnancy craving for them." A smile lights up on his face and he chuckles. "Now I have a craving for ice-cream..."
"Want me to take you to the ice-cream parlour in town?"
"Aw, that would be awesome but we have ice-cream in the kitchen, I'll just get some later."
