"He's going to change," Dean interjects, pulling me away from him.

"I'm not leaving him, I'm staying by his side. I believe he can do it," I say, going back over to him and sitting beside him. "Shh, it's okay," I soothe. "No need to get mad. He won't do anything, everything's going to be alright." I place my arm around him and stroke the back of his head, tangling my fingers in his hair while playing with it. He taps his fingers off the chair nervously so I rub his back in circles gently to calm him. He closes his eyes and takes long, deep breaths. Then Damian leans back, relaxing as well as possible. I let my hands wander over his neck and shoulders, feeling the knots. In slow, gentle circles my hands run over his tense muscles. He begins to relax and his muscles loosen. His fingers were unclenched and he wasn't angry anymore.

"I guess love is the only thing that can calm an angry Alpha," Rachel notes.

"See, everything's okay," I smile, showing him that everything's alright. "There was no need to be angry."

"Yes, there was. He had his hands all over you. You have no idea what he would of done if no one was with you. His pack are our enemy. He would do anything to harm something that was close and valuable to me. We hate each other," Damian sighs.

"He's not going to harm me. He won't get me, I promise. We're safe." I take his hand and place it on my bump to feel it but he quickly swipes it away.

"I'm still not in control of myself fully," he says softly.

"You would never harm them even if you weren't in control of yourself," I tell him.

"I know but just to make sure. My anger could make me do anything and I don't want to take that risk."

"I know you won't." I take his hand again and put it back on my belly. He looks down at my belly and grins as he moves his hand around it. He rotates his thumb against my bump in a gentle rub.

"I love you," he says. I rest my head against his shoulder and kiss him softly.

"I want that," Hannah sighs with annoyance. "You are both too perfect together, it's not fair."

"Let's give these love birds some privacy and go to class before we're late. Have fun, cuties," Ellen smiles as everyone repeats goodbye. I turn my head to Damian to ask him something important.

"What did Alec mean by "See you both soon"?" I inquire.

"He has a reason to be, Amber. This guy is dangerous. We have every right to be scared of what he's planning to do."

"I'm scared for the twins, Devon. What if all this worrying makes me have a miscarriage or he hurts me and it harms the twins-"

"Shh," he interrupts, placing his finger on my lips. "Nothing's going to happen to my nieces or nephews, you can count on that. I won't let him or any other motherfucker hurt my baby sister or her babies. So please, don't worry," he assures. "We have you protected here. If anyone did something they'd have to get through our pack first."

"Thank you," I smile.

"Don't thank me, Amber. This is my job; I'm your big brother and I promised to protect you from all harm." I cuddle with him and he rubs my back. "Are you o-" He stops suddenly, tilting his head as if concentrating on something. "I have to go. I'll be back later." He flits out of the classroom and Rachel and Hannah flit up to me straight away.

"What's wrong?" I ask, very confused at what's going on.

"Nothing, honey. We're just here to protect you. You should sit down so you can rest yourself and get the weight of your feet," Rachel offers. She and Hannah were looking at each other nervously which was making me very suspicious.
