"Sleeping, it's good that he's catching up on it before these devils come along," I mumble, patting my belly.
"What's up? You sound upset," Devon notes.
"Backache, I'm totally done with being pregnant," I mutter.
"Not long left now, probably a week left!" Mum guesses, stroking her fingers on it.
"Not looking forward to it," I utter.
"Cheer up, turn that frown upside down and let me get you some breakfast. You and those babies must be starving," Devon offers.
"We want a big breakfast," I answer, feeling my huge, burgeoning belly.
"As always," Devon adds, smirking before leaving the room. I feel a small tightening in my lower abdomen and breathe slowly. I hate Braxton Hick's contractions. Damian shuffles into the room and pouts at me.
"You left me to wake up alone," he frowns.
"Sorry, Damian, needed food, you wouldn't want your little daughter, son and mate hungry, now, would you?"
"No, but I would also like to wake up beside you and give you a big cuddle and kiss, you know?"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah."
"Ugh, you're so hormonal," Damian murmurs, lying down beside me on the couch and pulling me to his chest.
"You do this, you carry two babies and we'll see how you feel then!"
"No, thank you," he chuckles. "Calm down, honey, relax." He places his hands on my shoulders and gasps. "Babe, you're so tense. I'll loosen you up." That sounds so dirty but I can't say that it's dirty in front of my Mum! He massages my back and the backache lessens but doesn't fully go away.
"Thanks, baby, I'm sorry for being moody, it's my hormones and they're all over the place."
"I understand, Amber, thankfully, I don't have to deal with them much longer." I hit his chest and he laughs uncontrollably. "I'm kidding, you know I was joking. I love you, I'm sorry.
"You better be kidding, I love you too." Devon arrives back in with my breakfast and I eat it hungrily. "Yum."
"How can someone eat that quickly?" Simon muses, who had entered with Devon when he brought in my food.
"Pregnancy, Simon, pregnancy, don't ask me how, just pregnancy," Jason answers.
"I am not looking forward to being your slave when you get pregnant," Dean admits, poking Ellen.
"Yeah, don't worry. Where has everyone gone to?"
"Baby, they're all gone to get changed because we're all going out for a dinner today. Let's get you dressed properly too." He helps me up and carries me to our bedroom because he doesn't like me going up stairs anymore. He's so adorable and I love it.
"It's only dinner, why do we have to get all dressed for it?"
"It's a fancy restaurant, so put on one of your dresses." I sigh heavily. "Thank you."
"For what, Damian?"
"For being you and giving me everything I could ever hope for in life." If he keeps this up, I'll be in tears soon. "I was a player, which I regret so much, but I have you to thank for making me a better man, I love you, darling."
"I love you too; you'll never know how important you are to me."
"I do, because you're just as important to me, probably even more than I am to you. Without you, I'm nothing, sweetie, you're my rock." A move from our babies makes me take his hand and hold it to my baby bump.
"Guess who's moving again?" He smiles and kisses me passionately. "They adore their Daddy's touch."
"And I adore touching them, it's magical, I love this whole experience," he adds, caressing our babies. He leans over me and whispers loving words into my ear before biting at the sensitive spot behind my ear. I prevent myself from moaning by biting my lips and he leans over me. "I see you're wearing my shirt, you look very sexy, baby."
