"Go on," he said. I happily looked for a bandage in the drawers. Actually, I found them some time ago.

I took those. There was some antiseptic. I cleaned the wound and then applied the bandage. I held his hand. His hand was rough but warm.

I didn't see his face all this while, I'm too afraid to look into his eyes.

After completing all, I looked at him with a smile, only to meet with an evil smirk.

I took two steps back.

"Rule number 4 broken," he said. "Remember?"

uh... What was that?

I guess... I should do what he says or something like that.

"So," he said. "You broke it," he said.

"You... You deliberately made me break it by acting like you didn't have any problem..." I tried to explain.

"So? Didn't I tell you at first" he said and took some steps towards me. He kept doing that until I hit the wall. He trapped me between the wall and him. "That don't fucking care about me?"

"I-I just d-did that... I-I'm sorry" I said.

His hand went to his waistband and then he took out his gun. My breath hitched at the moment.

"S-sir," I said. "S-sorry"

He kept the gun on my forehead and traced my face with the weapon. Tears escaped my eyes in fear.

Will he kill me?

What will he do?

But the bigger question is why?

Whoever cares for him, he does this?

First Max and then me?

"Scared... Are we?" he asked.

I closed my eyes.

"Fuck! Open your eyes!"

I opened them slowly, slightly pleading with my eyes to take the weapon away.

"I'm not a person to care about," he said. "Take care of that" he added.

I nodded my head but then he looked at me with rage.

"U-understood, sir," I said.

Then he looks at my eyes intensely. A shiver flowed through my spine at his intense gaze.

Like he was looking through me.

Then his eyes saw my nose and stopped at my lips.

He threw the gun away and it fell on the floor with a sound. His gaze was still fixed on my lips.

I imagined the worst possibilities.

Hell, NO!!

Hailey's POV

I nodded back and went back to my room.

It's been three days and he hadn't returned. He hasn't come back. Max is here, he came yesterday. His shoulder, knuckles, and thigh were shot. Now he's fine.

Or he says so.

How can he be fine in just two days?

I don't know why; I'm waiting for him... I know I'm stupid to say this, but I kind of really want to talk to him.

Nope, get that shit out of your head.

I just want to meet my family.

And for that, I have to meet him.

"When will Robert Sir return?" I asked Max who was standing at my room's gate, asking me if I want anything.

"He didn't tell us and practically we have no right to ask him either"

"You do, I know," I said. He looked at me with shock.

"How do you know?"

"And you're just not asking him because he's angry with you"

"Well, if he was, I wouldn't have been here..." he said. "Or... maybe he is. Because he always visits whenever our men are shot, but he didn't visit me. But it's fine because it was my mistake"

"uh, well, okay then," I said and he left.

Everyone has a fear for him, huh?

I was practically missing his presence here, and yes, I know, exactly how crazy it is.
