"And, I said, nobody's."

He growled and backed away running his hand through his hair and banging his fist on the wall.

"Why do you have to be so difficult?" he grunted. I slowly backed away and made a dash for it, I wanted to get away from him.

FAR AWAY.

I ran out of the hospital with Thaddeus close on my tail. He picked me up as I groaned in pain. He instantly stopped moving and sighed again.

"You're not going to tell me who hurt you are you?" he groaned

"Nope, the answer is quite obvious if you are actually intellectually capable of figuring it out," I replied, as he lowered me to the ground.

"It was Victor wasn't it?" he asked, as we started to walk back.

"Bingo," I replied, faking shock. "Shocker: the guy that kidnapped me also attacked me," I continued putting a hand on my heart for dramatic effect.

"Darling, don't joke about your pain," Thaddeus scolded me seriously. I rolled my eyes at him and continued walking, maybe another time, Scarlett, maybe another time.

"I knew it was him when you arrived. I smeled him on you."

I ignored him and continued walking, taking in the layout; a way to figure out which way would be the easiest way to escape.

"You smelt disgusting," he added, talking about Victor's scent all over me. I continued to ignore him, searching for the pack house. Once I turned off the direction I felt his hand grab my wrist sparking tingles all along my arm.

"Don't ignore me," he said his eyes boring into mine. My light brown, almost golden eyes stared back at him.

"Scarlett, god damn it, what is it? Is it that time of the month?" he asked angrily dropping my wrist.

"If you want someone to bow down and respect you, go see Crystal, she's really keen on it."

"Scarlett, do you really think I'd get with Crystal after you came into my life?" he asked shocked. I simply ignored his question finding it too difficult to answer.

"Will I be able to attend my brother's funeral?" I asked keeping cool.

"Scar-"

"Will I?" I asked turning to face him.

"I will not let you leave me," he said roughly. "And if you go there, I will kill everyone who tries to keep you from me, so if you want to keep your family safe, stay with me."
