I had avoided Adain at school like the plaque and it had been easy considering he'd been ignoring me.

It wasn't till months later when I could no longer hide from what I already knew. Finding out I was pregnant had been terrifying and I had cried so hard I'd educed a panic attack. So after another month I found the courage to do what had to be done and talk to him.

We had been out of school by then the summer heat swarming the city. I knew he worked at his uncles garage as a mechanic as a part time job while also working at a tattoo shop.

When I had entered the shop everything seemed to freeze. Every male turned and stared at me with dark eyes. They all had that scary aura around them and I had nervously stepped back suddenly wishing I had just messaged him on facebook or something.

Adain had appeared from no where and grabbed my arm dragging me outside.

"What the hell are you doing here?" He'd spat angrily looking over his shoulder toward the shop.

I had taken a deep breath and forced my hands from fidgeting before I straightened up and forced words out."We need to talk there something I need to--"

"Look you seem like a great person and all but you need to leave. Don't come back either, it was a one night stand and thats all it'll ever be I don't want you. Now get out of here!" He snapped waving me off like a stray dog.

I had flinched and nodded quickly, tears filling my eyes.

I then spun on my heel and marched back to my care and vowed to never bother him again.

After that I never bothered Adain Sanchez again.

Stan came back in the room crying out in triumph as he held the pink glitter covered scissors above his head like a offering to the gods. After about thirty minutes of a lot of screaming and crying from everyone involved we finally freed the girls of tape.

"Mommy." Alyssa cried holding her arms up the evidence of her screaming fit from a minute ago completely gone. I easily lifted her small body up and placed her on my hip.

"Can you manage to watch her." I said pointing to Alicia who at the moment was playing with a toy car.

Stan gave a apologetic smile and nodded.

I rolled my eyes and walked back into the kitchen. Once I was done I handed Alyssa her pink cup which she eagerly grabbed and began to drink. The girls have this weird thing where Alyssa would only drink from pink sippy cups and Alicia would drink out of purple sippy cups.

I grabbed the girl lunch with one hand and went back into the living room. Stan had Alicia on the couch with him. I placed the plates down on the coffee table. I sat Alyssa down who instantly grabbed the chips off the plate ignoring her sandwich. Alicia did the same.

I sighed and kissed both of their foreheads before looking to my brother.

When we pulled up the shop I felt as if my stomach dropped. I knew he was here and it was making me insane with nerves. I saw him every now and then in the street or at the grocery store never with a girl thank god. But now I'd be seeing him on a daily bases.

Oh god I think I was going to be sick.

Mike threw an arm around my shoulders and pulled me inside. I was greeted by the sight of a older man who resembled Adain slightly. I realized this must be Adain's uncle.

"Mike this must be the girl you were talking about." A weird look crossed his face and his eyes briefly flickered to my exposed neck before meeting my eyes again a pleasant smile on his lips. I nervously shook his hand giving him a bright smile. "I'm Sam and you must be Sidney"

"Well why don't I introduce you to the guys before I show you how to work the computer alright? " He said rubbing his hand togeather.

I nodded giving a small smile and he led us toward a door that led to the garage. Just like two years ago everyone froze. I shifted awkwardly and moved closer to Mike who tightened his arm around me.

"Guys this is my girl Sidney she's going to be working in the front for awhile." Mike said loudly a smile on his lips. All of the guys seemed surprised by his words but gave me a welcoming smile well that is until there was a loud clank sound and Adain appeared from behind a truck his face furious.

Instinctively I hid slightly behind Mike who moved forward.

"I don't want her here and you know that! Get her out!" Adain roared. Tears pushed to my eyes and I quickly blinked them away. I shouldn't care what he thought. I didnt understand why he was so against me anyway we slept together once almost two years ago. I hadn't bothered him but that one time and it wasn't like I stalked him or anything.
