"Whats that douche doing here and why are you kissing him." Stan glowered.
"He knows about the girls and were uh together now. Its really serious, an uh I'm going to be having another baby."
Stan's mouth dropped open.
"Your pregnant with his baby? Your having another one of his kids? Are you insane!"
I frowned and placed a hand over my belly.
"What happen years ago was a misunderstanding and the girls love him and I lo- care about him a lot so just get use to it okay."
Stan glared at me then glared at Adain before sighing and rubbing his face.
"Fine but you better be there for those girls and damn well better help pay for the third kid. Damn it Sidney you nearly died with the twins what were you thinking!"
Adain stood up at this.
I glared at Stan and he glared right back.
"He has a right to know what he's putting your body back through. I was in there when everything went south and I nearly lost you Sid."
I sighed and went to Stanley wrapping my arms around him. He hugged me back tightly rocking us side to side.
"Sidney why didn't you tell me this?" Adain asked his voice furious.
I pulled away from Stan and went to Adain putting a hand on his shoulder. "Because it didn't really matter. I'm fine now and this time won't be like last time I had two babies to deliver I only have one this time."
Adain still looked furious and suddenly moved away and grabbed his keys off the coffee table. "I'll be back later don't wait up."
The front door closed behind him and I flinched stupid tears filling my eyes. I pushed them back and turned to Stan. He moved us to the couch and began to talk about the new girl he was seeing. Soon I forgot about Adain and was laughing at Stan's stories.
When Stan finally left I checked on the girls and went to bed. Tears clouded my eyes as I laid in the cold sheets. Would Adain even come back? I'd hadn't seen him angry like that since he found out about the girls.
I pressed my face against the pillow and let out a sob. It didn't help my stupid hormones were out of sort.
I don't know how long I'd been crying before I heard the door creak.
"Ah shit. Baby don't cry it kills me when you cry." He whispered.
"S-sorry." I chocked out wiping my face for only more tears to fall.
He crawled onto the bed and placed his back against the head board before dragging me on top of him my legs straddling him. I buried my face in his neck as he rubbed my back.
He whispered sweet nothings an kissed my cheek or neck every few seconds.
"You won't leave us will you?" I asked sniffling.
He leaned down an kissed his mark on my neck. "This mark means you are mine and I am yours. Forever. I love you Sidney."
My eyes blurred with more tears and I pulled back to smash my lips against his.
"I love you too Adain."
He smiled brightly and grasped my face. "I'm sorry it took so long for me to man up. I would have been there for the girls you know that right?"
Once the pack doctor who Adain explained was the doctor who treated all the wolves in the pack and was highly regarded finally arrived he instantly went to Alyssa.
Adain left the room and came back with Alicia who was sound asleep curled against her father's chest.
The doctor rose and gave us a smile. "She has a ear infection and a fever but some medicine should knocked those out. If the fever isn't down by tomorrow night call me or take her to the hospital but I'm sure that won't be necessary."
He then pulled Adain to the side but I didn't mind. The doctor had already given Alicia the medicine making her sleepily.
She whimpered and I scooped her up rocking her gently. My poor baby.
I ran my fingers through her hair and over her forehead soothingly. After a while she finally drifted back to sleep. Adain walked back in Alicia still in his arms.
"What did he want?" I whispered.
Adain just shook his head and laid down on the bed placing Alicia between us. I turned over and placed Alyssa next to Alicia.
Adain reached over and touched my cheek.
"They'll be fine don't worry alright."
I sighed and nodded.
"I love you."
I smiled at him and kissed his palm. "I love you too."
