"Get out Lindsay. Now." Caleb said, holding me tighter to him. Lindsay stood her ground and glared at me. "No. She's trying to take my mate away from me. I will not allow it. Get off him you slut." I slowly let go of Caleb's waist and tried to back away but he growled and held me tighter to him.

"She's mine. You're not my mate. You were never my mate." He snarled at her. Her eyes widened and then went back to glare at me again. "No. I am your mate. I am the Luna of the Broken Shadows Pack. Don't listen to her. She's a liar. Did she tell you that she's your mate? She's an attention seeking whore. Slut." She snarled back at him. I was just sitting on the bed in Caleb's embrace and watching his and Lindsay's spitting match. Lindsay stomped right in front of us in her 5 inch heels and ripped Caleb's arms off me.

"Don't touch him." She growled at me. Caleb was furious, he pushed her shoulder so she stumbled a few steps back and wrapped his arms around me again. He looked at me with concern in his eyes and whispered, "Are you okay?" I nodded and looked back to Lindsay who was furious now. She walked near to my bed and took the nearest thing next to my bed, which was a jug of water and poured it on me, getting Caleb and I soaked.

"That's it." Caleb said and tried to unwrap his hands around my waist but I hung on to him. "Calm him down Scar. Only you can do it." My wolf said. I wrapped my arms around Caleb's shoulder and pushed him down to the bed, ignoring my IV and the throbbing in my wrist. "No. She's my sister Caleb. You will not hurt her." I said to him and looked straight into his eyes. His jaw went slack and he looked at me. "But she -"

"I'm not sure if I can trust you Caleb. I don't want to get my heart broken again." I said with a sigh. "No. I promise I'll never break your heart again. I can't lose the thing that I cherish so much." He said and nuzzled his face into my neck. I took his hands that were wrapped around my waist and guided him back towards the hospital room. "I'm tired." I said as I climbed into bed.

"Get some rest then babe." He said as he kissed my forehead. He sat down next to my bed and rested his head on the mattress. I nudged his head with my elbow and patted the bed, silently telling him that he can sleep with me. He nodded then climbed into bed with me and wrapped his arms around my waist and leaned his head near mine.

"I love you." was the last thing I heard him say then I fell into the land of dreams with Caleb's arms wrapped around my waist and my heart soaring high.
