"Happy Halloween!" I shouted throwing my arms around Nick. He staggered back surprised before hugging me back.

"Happy Halloween. I love you," he responded kissing my cheek and pulling back just a little, keeping his arms around my waist.

"As I love you," I responded pecking his lips and smiling excitedly. Halloween was my favorite holiday well besides my birthday of course.

"I see someone adores this holiday. I mean I probably should have taken the hint when you started talking about it weeks ago."

"You know I like this outfit," he says smirking. I was currently wearing a black scarf with a white lace shirt that was tucked into a black skirt with a pair of black MK van like shoes.

"I do look hot in it," I say smirking arrogantly and doing a little twirl causing him to roll his eyes.

"Let's go to breakfast!" I say suddenly and Nick nodded.

"Just the two of us?" He asked and I shook my head.

"I invited Nathan and his friends," I said and he nodded. "They're going to meet us downstairs."

"Where are we going exactly?"

"The Waffle house," I responded.

"How exactly did you get over here without getting in trouble?"

"I said it was an emergency," I shrugged before pouting at Nick.

"Enough questions let's go," I say and he slips on his shoes and grabs his phone and keys before shutting the door. On the way down I look at the pretty details on the ring Nick gave me for my birthday. I thought back to when I first met Nick as myself and how he said he would give me a ring for my nineteenth birthday. When we finally reached down stairs I seen Nathan and smiled widely again.

"Nate!" I say excitingly and I didn't hesitate to run over. I jumped up wrapping my arms around his neck while he automatically responds by grabbing my waist.

"Happy Halloween Claire-bear," he said smiling before dropping me on my feet.

"Claire?" I froze at the sound of Leon's voice. Shit. Turning around I seen Leon, Ashton and Cam standing there while Nick glared fiercely at them.

"What are you doing here?" Nick and Leon asked at the same time. I could see Nick was pointing the question at him while Leon was pointing his question at me. I cringed and gave him a wry smile.

"Leon," I say slowly and Nick's eyes tried to meet mine but I avoided his stare.

"What are you doing here?" He repeated.

"Nathan's my best friend and Nick is my boyfriend," I responded slowly.

"How do you two know each other?" Nick demanded.

"Your girlfriend and I hooked up," he said and I sent him a glare.

"Please tell me he's lying and you didn't actually hook up with this douche."

"If it makes you feel any better you were a billion times better," I try biting my lip. I've never been in this situation so I didn't know what to really say or do. I mean Leon is Nick's arch enemy of course in my defense I didn't know that at the time.

You should have told him when you had the chance.

I thought I got rid of you.

nah.

"It doesn't."

"Hey just like you have a past with who knows how many girls I also have a past with a couple of guys that's it and it was only one night," I said and he sighed.

"All is forgiven," Nick said after a moment. Making my good mood return and my bright smile.

"Now that that's all settled can we go." Ashton patted his stomach and Nick shook his head.

"You little dumb fucks are not coming anywhere with us."

"We are going to sober you up," I said helping Nick bring him to the car since he was tripping so much over his own feet.

"We'll meet you there," Nate told me as they all got in his car and I nodded as we got into Nicks. I was stuck sitting in the backseat with the asshole since a certain someone was worried he'd throw up in his car.

"I hate how you smell," Caiden murmured to me over Nick's loud music in his car. I responded by looking down at his head on my lap and giving him a glare.

"You smell like them, like vanilla," my eyebrows furrowed since he was spot on. I was wearing vanilla lace perfume.

"Uh sorry?"

"Yeah, well prostitutes never smell that great so I figured you would smell disgusting," he said and I clenched my fists. "Dammit Nick, are we almost there?" he yelled.

"Almost," he yelled back. You'd think he would turn down his music but nope he just let Falling in Reverse continue to blast in the car. Although since I liked them I didn't mind much.

"Who do I smell like and why do you hate that I smell like them?" I finally asked. The curiosity was starting to eat me alive not knowing who he was talking about.

"I may be drunk but I'm not stupid. I won't tell you that. "He hissed out before squeezing his eyes shut. The car stopped and we all got out slowly.

"Took you guys long enough," Nate teased.

"Oh whatever," I say rolling my eyes.

"Table for seven."

"Right this way."

"Hey babe I have a bed for two if you get off early," Caiden said winking.

"I have a boyfriend." They waitress said putting down our menus. After writing down what we wanted to drink to left. There was an awkward silence as no one said anything.

"So..." I mumbled.
