Pulling away for needed oxygen, I opened my eyes and started at Michael who went straight to kissing my cheek and down to my neck, then down to my collarbone. Instantly my eyes closed again and I supressed a small sigh of content as his moist lips worked their way around and back up to my neck. A small growl brought me out of my trance and made me think about how in this moment in time, I couldn't ask for a better mate, werewolf or not.

As the word mate ran through my mind, the pleasure coursing throughout my body from the gentle touch of Michael's lips on my skin made it feel like a dream. A dream that I was snapped out from as I felt him start nibbling on my neck which I instantly thought of the mark. I slowly cupped his chin and directed his head back up again and met his lips one last time, wanting him not to mark me but not wanting the feeling of pure bliss to end just yet.

Once again our lips connected but we both knew that the moment was over. Our lips slowly parted and I almost wanted to whine and experience it all over again, but I reluctantly pulled away, completely out of breath again. Our foreheads rested on each other and we were both panting heavily whilst gazing into each other's eyes.

A small grin played on my lips and Michael mirrored it, but his looked way more sexy. We stayed like that for a while, just gazing into each other's eyes, completely mesmerised by each other and by the kiss we just shared. "I think you may need the run now," I chuckled lightly as Michael's brown eyes slowly started morphing into a dim red.

From past experience I only though his eyes went red from anger, but now I've also experienced his eyes also turned red from lust.

"There's no way in hell I'm leaving after that," he growled, his voice husky and hoarse. I could hear the strain in his voice of trying to keep himself under control and he picked up on it as well. With a reluctant sigh, he placed a small kiss on my nose which instantly caused my cheeks to burn bright red. The sweet gesture got my heart racing and the butterflies started invading my stomach once more. Now I really didn't want him to leave.

"I'll be back in an hour. Please don't leave my house." he said quietly. I nodded my head but we both failed to get up and move away from one another. I felt so safe and secure in his arms, and as corny as it sounds, I felt like we fit together perfectly. With another reluctant sigh he dropped his arms from my waist and lightly tapped my hips, making me stand up.

"One hour," he said and then exited the room, leaving me replaying the kiss over and over again with a dreamy look plastered on my face that I just couldn't control.

It has been about half an hour since Michael left for his run and I was bored out of my mind. I was still sitting on the couch and was playing some random game that I didn't even know I had on my phone. I was tempted to walk around the rest of the house but I felt as if that was invading his privacy. I was hungry but I felt rude just eating food. You never know, I could eat the last of Michael's favourite food and I know for a fact it won't end well.

I sat down and just continued looking at the view, slightly jealous that Michael gets to wake up to this every morning. Then I felt bad because of this whole mate's thing and now for the past few weeks he hasn't gotten to wake up the magnificent view. The sun shining down onto me made me feel as if I was in heaven, and I was enjoying every second of it.

It would be better if Michael was here to, I thought with a sad sigh.

Is this sad? That I'm already is missing him and his been gone for only half an hour. There's no doubt in my mind that I like Michael a lot, you'd be stupid if you didn't and thinking back on my short past with him, I was nuts for not liking him to start with. Maybe it was the whole werewolf thing but I'm slowly growing used to it and I've learned it's not that bad.

The sound of a twig snapping bought me out of my deep thoughts and I looked around to see where the sound came from. Out in the forest and just to the left, I saw a shadow slowly emerging from the tree line. I held my breath, frozen in my spot as a huge wolf appeared with the beautiful deep brown eyes and a low growl. It neared closer and closer and I had no clue on how to react so I stayed firmly planted in the seat.
