"How Mikey? You're behind silver bars." Reece practically taunted him causing Michel to lunge at Reece, claws outstretched through the bars. The sound of his body thumping against the metal bars echoed in the small space but was quickly drowned out from Michael snarling viciously.

"Reece, it okay. His not going to hurt me. I promise." I pleaded with him but he didn't even turn around to notice me.

"Look at him Alana! His unstable, you shouldn't have gotten so close to him." Reece scolded me, eyes never leaving Michael. "He-." Reece abruptly stopped talking and his body froze. Ever so slowly in a dangerous matter, he turned and faced me, eyes piercing into my soul.

"Why do you smell mated?" He asked me, voice deeply low and extremely dangerous.

"Ummm," my voice wavered as I tried to make up some kind of excuse but my mind was drawing a black.

"You have a mark. How the fuck did you two mate last night?" He yelled making me jump slightly. I stayed silent and looked over to Michael whose hands were wrapped tightly around the bars, knuckles white and breathing heavy and uneven.

"Reece. Get the fuck out. Now." Michael growled clearly trying to control himself from shifting.

"Fine." Reece snarled back. "Let's go Alana." He stated, smirking at Michael, grabbing my arm once again and tugged me towards the door. Michael's furious growls filled the air and my pleas to stay with Michael were left hanging in the air and Reece unaffected as he strode to the door with me in toe.

"Reece, stop! Please." I pleaded. I took in a deep breath. "Maddie gave me the key."

Reece froze mid stride and I had to stop suddenly to avoid ramming into him.

"Don't lie, Alana." He growled.

"I'm not, I swear she gave me the key. It's in my bag look." Reece gave me a hard look, staring into my eyes as if he could tell is I was lying or not.

"Fuck" he cursed under his breath. "Someone get Maddie down here right now." He yelled out the door to who I assume was a guard or someone waiting at the door.

"I-"

"No." Reece snapped. "You don't get to say anything." He growled at me, silencing me with his deadly low tone. Michael growl instantly turned louder at hearing Reece's warning voice towards me. "Sit on this bench," He motioned his head to the bench next to the door. "And stay silent." I looked at my feet and nodded my head.

Reece truly didn't want to be doing this to Michael but the mating bond was strong. His urge to protect his mate and the packs Luna came above helping his friend that was a brother to him.

"Just give him a chance. Let Alana stay here because it's the best thing for him and his wolf. Now that their mated, taking her away will just ruin him even more." She spoke with a soft voice which also held a stern demanding edge. Reece just stared down at Maddie with adoring eyes pulling her body in tight with his.

"Yes Luna." He whispered teasing into her ear that I just managed to catch.

"Well this is fucking adorable." Michael growled from his cell with fake joy lacing his voice. "Now can someone tell me what you've decided? I need to know if I have to break my way out of here or not." I couldn't help but smile slightly at him. All though his eyes had turned back to the bright red, the pout on his face was adorable, and something you wouldn't expect Michael to do. His strong arms were holding his weight as he leaned against the bars at a 45 degree angle with his legs crossed at his ankles.

I saw Reece go to open his mouth but Maddie quickly bet him to it. "Alana is staying down here for as long as she wants with you. The entrance to this room will be bolted shut all the time and Alana will have a key for your cell." She explained which Reece reluctantly nodded to.

Maddie walked up closer to Michael's cell, Reece in tow and me rising to my feet to see what's going on. "Mikey, you're practically Reece's brother. We hate seeing you here and I'm honestly trying to help you here." She said with sympathetic eyes.

"You need to do your half and try to control yourself. And I swear to god you hurt Alana in any way and she's banned from entering down here and I'm going to have no say in what your punishment is. It will be taken completely out of my hands and the last thing I want is for you to be killed." She explained and my chest instantly tightened at the thought of Michael being killed.
