It is so incredibly hard to keep myself from crying out in pain. Slice after slice, the shining blade swept across my stomach igniting such a pain I can't compare it to anything I've ever felt before. I've counted up to seven huge cuts, some going across the width of my stomach and some going down the length of my stomach. Silent tears were pouring from my eyes ones that I just can't control.

My heart is beating so fast it may jump out of my chest but it wasn't from the pain. I just told Michael I loved him and I haven't heard a response from him.

In my mind it was silent and I couldn't hear anything from him. When you mind link you can feel a sort of presence with the person, and even that wasn't there anymore. He had shut me out.

I called his name to see if he was there but I got no response. At this particular moment in time, I feared having no response more than I feared my life.

I didn't get why he just shut me out. I mean, he said he loved me. Wouldn't he be happy that I felt the same emotion towards him and that we are at the same stage in the relationship feelings wise?

I guess not.

I felt defeated. My heart felt like it's shattered into a million pieces as I'm just left hanging here for an answer and hanging on for dear life. I cried out but not from the slow torturous cuts of the blade, but for the cold shoulder from Michael as I realised my true feeling for him.

"So Alana, I'm going to ask you a few questions, and I want the correct answers from you okay?" Richard spoke in a slow, cold voice. The evil glint remained in his eye and hasn't disappeared the whole time he was standing over me, using his height to intimidate me and it frightened me to the bone.

"Easy question first so you know what the truth sounds like. What is your name?" His sounded mocking, as if he was talking to a small child and that pissed me of so much.

"Alana." I responded through gritted teeth.

"Good good. Now, what's the name of your mate?" The blade moved from my stomach to my arms and gently glided over my bloodied and sweaty skin. The blade wasn't digging into me, it was just gently gliding causing no harm but exposing a threatening gesture.

"Michael."

"Correct again. And, do you want to be alive to watch me murder your mate or would you rather me end your pain now?"

"You bastard." I shouted at him and kicked my legs frantically, trying to cause some kind of damage he but he had me pinned.

I wanted to be rid of the pain I was going through and either fall unconscious or bring my death forwards a few minutes because it is defintally soon.

My head felt all light and dizzy and it felt as if my body was staring to numb from the pain even though it was still clearly felt.

The laugh above me, sounding so evil and so cruel sent the last of my pent up tears streaming down my cheeks. My legs thrashed violently and my arms tried moving but they couldn't, my body to weak from all the pain I'm in.

Raising the knife above my heart, a sinister smirk took over his face.

"I'll be seeing you there then, pretty."

An ear shattering howl caused the down wards plummet of the knife to stop. Arms frozen in their spot, Richard looked around scoping out the place.

Not as much as I love you, beautiful. Michael's voice popped into my head and I couldn't help but feel relieved.
