"H-Heath?" Chris said and I hugged him. He was shocked, but didn't push me away; which was enough for me.

Slowly he hugged me back and I smiled.

"Hey Chris," I finally whispered. He closed the door without getting away and suddenly pushed me against the door.

"You did this to her? This was your plan!" he yelled and I flinched.

"What? N-No..."

He looked at my eyes and then nose; his gaze traveled to my lips and lingered there for a minute.

"Just say yes and I will kiss you right now," he whispered.

What?

I smiled brightly.

"Yes, I did it"

He smiled and kissed me on my lips. Our lips connected like they have a hundred times and his hands traveled over my back, his touch giving me endless pleasure.

"Chris..." I said softly, and he stopped. "I love you"

He didn't reply.

I was in the hospital because of being shot. Is Ashley gonna be okay? That Vincent will... damn. I don't even wanna think about it. How is this gonna work?

I tried to call Chris. I reached out to my phone lying right next to my bed and called Chris.

After a while, it was picked up.

"Hey, Chris? Ashley--"

"Stop it! I can't hear another word on her!"

The call was cut and I couldn't understand anything.

Why does he hate her so much? What I sent to him, wouldn't have this effect.

I sighed, cause I can't get up and help her. Sorry, Ashley.

Ashley

I woke up finally and felt my head really paining like hell. I slowly tried to open my eyes. As I saw the surroundings, I couldn't recognize the place. Then I started thinking.

Wait. The people who came to kidnap me... did they succeed? When did I come here? Why? Where is this place? Did Chris let me go... like this?

Then his words came crashing down in my memory.

"Let them fuck you if they want to"

W-Will this happen to me?

No, right?

I tried to get up as fear rose in me.

I looked around more carefully. The place was really big and it was... beautiful. The windows were covered with dark curtains, the walls were black and brown... brown mostly. I didn't get good vibes with the dark atmosphere.

I slowly went near a window and removed the curtain. The bright light hit my eyes and I closed them. I slowly looked out.

I was on a high floor. I could see the entire city from here. Not the entire; but at least a part of it. The scenery was so beautiful. Why would someone hide it with these black and brown curtains?

I removed the curtains of all the windows and the room lighted up. I took a deep breath and decided to step out. No, I was not enjoying this huge room, but I needed some air and probably a better environment to think about things.

I went to the door. As half-expected, it was locked. I tried to open it many times, but it was not opening. I was aware that anyone who had locked me in this room wouldn't want the good of me, so I decided not to make any noises or give any indications that I am awake. I need to figure a way out.

I went to one of the windows, but I can't go down. As I said, we are up high. I need to go out of the door.

"Like always," she repeated.

I took her hand and she looked at me with confusion. "I know I don't love you, but still, I feel this attraction. I think maybe someday I would be able to love you again, but can you..."

She put another hand on mine. "Yes, Chris. I will be your girlfriend"

I smiled and hugged her. Maybe we have an understanding that no one else has ever had. Look how she knew what I was gonna say even before I could say it. We are meant for each other.

"But, I have a condition"

"Yes"

"You will remove Ashley and anything that reminds you of her, from your life"

"I will"

She smiled. "Great, Chris... time to make amends"

"Yes"

"I wanted to... I wanted to move in here. Will that affect our business?" she questioned.

Yup, she always has been this quick.

"Well... I gave it a thought, and it was fine according to me. "It is okay. Let's make our relationship public"

"But you just made your relationship public... with Ashley"

Yes... that would make me look like a playboy.

"So... can you wait for a few days?"

"Sure"

I smiled at her. Ashley, you are out of my life from now.
