"And... then Lara.... Lara and I decided to start over... we had no one... so..."

"Are you okay?" he took my face in his hands.

"Y-Yeah, I guess"

He looked into my eyes and then stared deep into them. He came slowly closer and didn't leave my eyes. As he reached closer, I closed my eyes as I anticipated his kiss.

His lips touched mine slowly. The kiss was so relieving, as it was soaking all my sadness away. My hand went to his face and I touched his cheeks as he pulled me closer. Slowly he came over me as I laid on the sofa. His kiss was just a small peck on my lips, but still, it was the most beautiful one. It had more emotions than any I ever had.

He got a little away but I pulled him close and he looked into my eyes again.

"Don't go away" I unknowingly whispered and his emotions didn't change, he just joined our lips again. This time deeper than the last one. It was a kind of hungry kiss and I kissed him back with the same passion.

He kept kissing me for a while until we ran out of breath. He got away and looked at me. "Better?"

"Ye-s" I was still out of breath.

"I love you"

I looked at him shocked as those words left his mouth. I love you? Like... for real? Not the fake one like in the wedding, right?

"Shocked, Ashy?"

I smiled slowly. "Y-Yeah"

"I realized it just now when I was so relieved that you trusted me. When I found out that my kiss healed you. When you wanted me"

I smiled more. "Yes, Vincent. You are right. So right. You know what... I-I was so shocked that your kiss just drained all my sadness away. You know what, Vincent? I think I love you too"

He looked at me to confirm my statement. I smiled. "I love you too Vincent"

He smiled faintly. "Now get up"

He got away and I sat up. We looked at each other and laughed cause my hair was ruined and so were his.

"I will make breakfast now" I got up from the sofa.

"Sure"

"What do you like?"

"Anything. I don't really have a favorite food or something"

"Alright" I went to the kitchen.

I sat down beside him and took mine, and started eating it. He also started eating his. It was actually quite impressive, and I was happy with myself. I mean, I never really cooked something good.

He ate it and got up. "Alright, I am going now. Call me if you need me"

"Okay..."

He smiled and went to the door. He looked at me once again and then left.

I stood up and kept the utensils in the kitchen. To be honest, I expected some praise from me. But maybe I was expecting too much. I am lucky he ain't bad to me. I always want too much!

I went back to the living room. I still don't know what I should do... I have the whole day and I don't even know when he will come back.

But he said that he will see that person in an hour. I really thought he was gonna spend that time with me. But he went out within minutes. Well, I shouldn't act like an obsessed girl! I was kidnapped by the Mafia and 'forcefully' married.

I wanted to ask him when he will return, so I messaged him.

"Hey! Just wanted to know when you will return"

My phone rang and I picked it up. "Hey"

"Hello, Ashy. I will return in an hour or two. I don't really know, alright. And um... the food was really tasty. I had something else on my mind so I couldn't say it then. You make really good muffin"
