"Oh Vincent, thank you"

"Alright, then bye for now"

"Bye"

The call ended and I smiled looking at my phone. Well, I guess I just think too much.

After the call ended, I decided to go back soon. I was quite upset with everything, and I remembered how good those muffins were just when I reached here. I didn't even praise her. It is so bad of me, right?

Well, I never really cared about anyone so it is quite difficult for me, to know what small things I don't even notice, would make her sad or maybe slowly unlove me. Yes, I am scared to lose her because that 'I Love You' wasn't fake or on impulse. I spoke it after thinking for hours.

She was so happy when she said 'thank you' to me. Maybe she was expecting me to praise her... and I didn't. Well, I am gonna try my best to pay attention to these details, but I am not the caring type cause I never cared for anyone but me.

"How can you tell me that you can't get the deal?" I confronted him. "How dare you say that?"

"Boss, we tried..."

"Fuck. You still are telling me that you can't get it?"

"Boss, we really can't. It doesn't have that much potential that was pay a billion dollars for it"

"So now you are gonna decide the potential of a deal? Have you forgotten who the boss is here?" 

"No, we haven't, boss. But this deal is gonna be a big loss and as your right-hand man, it was my duty to warn you. The final decision is of course up to you"

I nodded. "Yes. And the final decision is that we are taking the deal"

"Alright, boss"

I walked out and met with my other client. 

After the deal was finalized, I shook hands with Mr. Raynez. 

"It is a pleasure working with you, Mr. Smith!"

"You too, Mr. Raynez"

He smiled and I returned the professional smile. "By the way, Mr. Smith. I am sure you are gonna take up the deal of Mr. Adams?"

"Ah well, that decision is still not confirmed"

"Oh alright!"

"Why'd you ask?"

I sighed and went back. I passed through every man once again to make sure that none had any problem with anything. I met with David. 

"So, we are accepting the deal. Don't doubt it again"

"Alright, boss"

I nodded and went out. David has always been by my side and I actually trust his decisions but sometimes I think maybe he is not the one to take risks and I love taking risks... and that is where our interests and opinions don't meet.

Well, I went to my car and started driving back. I had one more thing to do, but I really wanna spend some time with Ashy. These all things can wait.

I reached home and saw the time. It was 9:45 AM. We had to leave by 2 PM. Does she remember it? Cause I actually almost forgot about it. 

I saw her sitting on the sofa in the living room. I went to her. 

She looked at me and stood up. "Hey!"

"Hey Ashy"

She smiled. "You know, I was missing you"

"Oh well, I missed you too"
