I was feeling really angry and my anger was increasing with every passing minute. Who does he think he is?

"Just-"

"Sign" he interrupted me again. I lost my patience. 

I took the papers and tore them. But then he looked at me and for a second, I was completely scared. His one eye was badly bruised.

Ashley

I saw him. his one eye was badly bruised. 

"Vincent?" I whispered and sat down on the floor beside him while he looked away. I touched his face but he got up. "That's none of your concern," he replied.

"I know. But still, please" I got up and went in front of him. He looked into my eyes. 

"Why?" he asked me.

"Because I love you"

"But I--"

"Yeah I know you don't love me, it's okay" my voice cracked but I managed to say it. His eyes moistened. I was shocked. Why was he sad?

"What happened?" I asked him.

"Nothing" he looked away to the side.

"I know I don't mean anything to you, but please..." I looked at him. "let me treat it"

"Who said you don't mean anything to me?"

I looked at him shocked. "Do I?"

"Look, Ashley..." he closed his eyes and a tear fell. I immediately wiped it. "No, please don't be sad" 

He came closer and held me by my waist. Even now there were butterflies in my stomach. I was feeling so blessed. He was holding me like before. "Ashy"

"Y-yes?" I asked him.

"I love you"

I looked into his eyes and I saw love. but what was all this about then?

"But Vincent..." I whispered. "You said you--"

"I know what I said and..." he got away and sighed. "I understand if you hate me--"

"Shut up, Vincnet just tell me why did you say that then?"

"There is something you need to know"

"Tell me"

"You sure, right?" my breath shattered even after being so close to him.

"I am. I am damn sure, Ashy. You know, I will never ever think of any other woman. You are gonna be the first and last on my mind"

"I believe you and you should know, maybe you weren't my first but you are definitely my last. I can't think of living without you but..." I took deep breaths. I don't wanna separate. I wanna be with him! I was crying but he was continuously calming me by stroking my back. "but I think I will live if I know you will come back"

he got away and smiled. "That's my girl"

"Forever"

We both smile sadly. Even he had tears in his eyes. At least he loves me. At least it wasn't a lie and at least everything had some good thing in all this.

I know that if he promises he will come back, then he will. There is no need to worry anymore. 

"H-How long do you think it will take for you to... come back?" I asked him. He sighed.

"I have no idea... Ashley" he looked into my eyes and held my hand. "But as soon as I kill them, I will"

"I trust you, Vincent" I kept my hand around his neck and kissed him on his cheek. "I love you"

He took my face in his hands and smiled before crashing our lips together. We kissed for some time. It was the best moment of my life. "I love you too"

We got away. "Uh, sign this paper for now"

With a heavy heart, I picked up the pen. If I sign them, there will be no relation left between me and him. But I do trust him. I know that he loves me. And if it was only for my life, I would have taken the risk. But I can't. I can't risk his life and also, I know he will win and return. Till then, I will hope.
