Vincent

"How are you so sure?" I asked him.

"It is her hand writing" he threw the note on the floor. "I'll help you in finding Lara"

"Why would you?"

"Maybe because I hate Heather" he went out of the house.

I picked up the note just in case I needed it later on and then followed him out. He gave me an earphone. "Sure you know how to use it"

"Yes"

He nodded and went to his car. I wore the earpiece.

"can you hear me?" I heard him through the earpiece.

"Yes"

"Great. You should follow my car, I will take you to her place"

"Fine"

I knew that he really did hate Heather, so I decided to believe him on this. Whatever the case maybe, I will handle it.

"What are we gonna do?" I asked as I sat down in my car and followed his'.

"You'll get Lara and then I will take my revenge"

"Okay"

I didn't wanna argue with him about anything.

We soon stopped in front of a big house. "Front door?" I asked him.

"Of course. I will go first. It will seem like a peace agreement. Okay?"

"Hm"

I parked my car out of the sight of anyone living in the house and was ready to intrude as I stood near the building.

I focused on my earpiece and waited for him to start the conversation.

soon I heard him speaking, "Hello Heather"

"You are so shameless. What are you here for? begging for my love?"

"I am here for you to know that we can have a peace agreement"

"Really? Why would I be interested in something like that?"

"Because I know everything about you and maybe I have contact with the FBI"

I heard her vicious laugh. "Doesn't matter. I am not scared"

"Come on" I heard him and I went to the front gate and she looked at me shocked.

"V-Vincent Smith?"

"You dare hurt my sister in law?" I smirked. "Time for a little revenge"

"You cheap man! You can't do anything on your own, can you!?" I heard Heather as she humiliated Chris.

"I can," he smirked. "Wanna know what?"

"What?" she laughed. She was completely oblivious that Chris could also do something to hurt her. He took out his phone.

"I have earned my position by hard work and thus this was also possible due to my hard work"

He heaved a sigh of relief. "That's good. The FBI will come soon. You should go to the hospital and take Ashley"

I nodded.

"And bro" he called me and I looked at him. "I am glad we did it together"

I didn't reply. He couldn't and shouldn't expect me to be friends with him.

I went back to the house. "Hey! Did you find her?"

"Yeah. She is in the hospital now. She is gonna be okay"

She was sad, yet she smiled. "That's good! Let's go"

"Uh..." I sighed. "I wanna stay back. Do you wanna go?"

"Um... she will be okay, right?"

"Yes"

"Okay... then I will stay too"

I nodded. The truth was, whatever the case was, I still didn't like Lara at all. I hated her from my heart and that's why I wasn't interested in going and seeing her.

I'd rather sit and have a chat with Ashley. I know she wants to visit her, but it will be okay if I just stay because I don't wanna get angry.

I saved her and I guess that's enough already.

We talked for a few minutes, and then suddenly my phone rang.

"Hey?"

"This is from the Hospital. We are really sorry to inform you that Ms. Lara Jones didn't make it"
