Cedric was briefly silent before he adjusted the frame hanging on the bridge of his nose. Then, he finally gave in. "Fine, just send me the address."

That evening, Noelle went out for dinner with Mia and Eugene. Grace had gone to the base for training and couldn't join them.

The restaurant was not far from campus. On the way there, Noelle suddenly remembered something and turned to Mia.

"Mr. Sulton is actually a foodie. He took me to this really unique place last night, and we should all go next time."

"Sure. Mr. Sulton's reputation in the legal world isn't great; he's too flashy and has made a lot of enemies. Still, I didn't expect him to be such a foodie. That's kind of an interesting contrast."

Walking beside them, Eugene chimed in, "Everyone needs a hobby."

"What's your hobby then?" Mia turned to look at him and asked.

Eugene paused and stared at her face intently. He didn't reply, but Mia somehow understood what he meant.

She quickly looked away, grabbed the menu, and started ordering dishes. But just before the meal began, she received a text from Eugene. "Come with me."

"Why?" she replied, but Eugene didn't respond. Instead, he got up and left the room.

Mia guessed it had something to do with Noelle's request earlier, so she quietly followed him out without asking more.

Eugene took her by the hand and led her into the private room across the hall. That was when she noticed a man enter their previous room; it was Cedric.

Eugene stopped her from following. "Let them talk it out."

"Why didn't you tell me in advance?" Mia asked and looked up at him.

"If I had told you, none of this would've worked out. There are some things we can't get involved in."

Mia fell silent and thought it made sense, while Eugene continued, "They have to talk face-to-face. That way, there'll be no doubts or misunderstandings."
