I took a deep breath and trembled as I crawled into the convenience store.

The cashier stared at me in shock, clearly unable to believe what he was seeing.

"Sir, are you...?"

I closed my eyes, swallowing my humiliation, and pointed shakily to the shelf with the bottle of Liam Daniel's.

"Oh... uh... okay..." the cashier stammered, grabbing the bottle and ringing it up for me.

With the bottle clenched in my teeth, I crawled out of the store, head down.

But as soon as I stepped outside, I was met with uproarious laughter.

Emma and her lover were standing among a crowd of onlookers, pointing at me and laughing hysterically.

"Look at that! That pathetic guy crawling around like a dog is my worthless husband! Hahaha, see how well I've trained him!"

"What? That’s a person? I thought it was some kind of pet dog, haha..."

"What a disgrace! I wonder what he did to deserve being treated like this by his wife."

Back at the apartment, Emma tied me to the coffee table.

The two of them wasted no time, getting intimate on the couch right in front of me.

As their sounds of passion filled the room, I could only stare blankly at the clock on the wall, watching the second hand inch closer to midnight.

When the clock finally struck 12, I shot up from the floor, yanking the collar and muzzle off my neck.
