Miranda's entrance lit up the room, leaving everyone in shock. Nobody expected to see the latest sensation live and in person. A buzz of whispers quickly filled the room.
"Oh my God, it's Miranda, it's really her. I absolutely adore her, I'm her biggest fan."
"Well, not like you, I'm more of a fan of her looks."
"She's even more stunning in person. Truly a heiress, a natural beauty; no amount of plastic surgery can compete with that."
"She’s not someone decent, I heard she's the other woman."
"Word is she's got a bad temper and uses her family's money to bully people."
...
Miranda simply waved and made her way to her seat. When the professor started the lecture, she picked up a book and began to read. The books in this world weren't much different from those in her original world, except here they were considered outdated relics. So, Miranda breezed through them with ease.
Soon enough, boredom took over, and she began to doze off. The professor noticed but didn't bother waking her.
After all, the administration had made it clear that Miranda was a special case and should be left alone. Though privately, the professor felt a bit scornful of students who bought their way through school, he still thought it was a waste for someone so young to squander her time like this.
“What’s your deal, Theo? How could you betray me?” Arabella demanded furiously.
Theo's voice was dripping with impatience. "Betrayal? We already called off the engagement. We’re done, Arabella."
Arabella’s face twisted with anger, she threatened coldly, "What right do you have to break it off? Do you realize the consequences?"
Theo countered, "Haven't you figured out the situation yet? You're not even the Hawke family's biological daughter. Do you think they'll still have your back like before? Even if they do, so what? I must have been blind to ever like someone malicious like you. Now everyone knows the girl I was so into is a complete impostor, and I'm the laughing stock. Just quit calling me, Arabella. Let's end this with dignity."

The readers' comments on the novel: Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back
In what world was it ever okay for people to like people who hit and punch them? Miranda deserves someone who doesn't hit people, she needs someone who commands respect through kindness, who could show her a world where people respond more to kindness. All this shows is that it's all about money. There was no character development for Elian. He is the typical boring man, tough but soft for the heroine. Seb is the typical mysterious, quiet and strong. Can you introduce another character who would really pique Miranda's interest from the start please. All the stories I've ever read are about strong people getting together, kings, alphas, queens, powered individuals. What about someone ordinary but not too ordinary, someone middle class but hard-working, someone relatable? Okay ,rant over, bye...
I liked it before but her choosi g Elian made it boring pretty fast. He is too childish in front of her. It's your story though. I was hoping she'd neither choose Elian nor Sebastian but someone else. They are now too overpowered, it was getting redundant to read that they're the best at everything. Too much of a power couple is too much. Bye!...
Will there be an update soon please...
