They never thought they'd witness such a scene in a real-life setting like this.
Was there really someone who spoke so bluntly these days? Even in a setting like this, she didn’t hold back. But man, it was refreshing to hear!
Compared to how everyone else was always careful not to be taken out of context, Miranda's words were like a breath of fresh air!
Even Hannah felt relieved. That was indeed her sister. Sure, she was a bit rough, but she got the job done.
Miranda’s words to Arabella left Alden and Grace a bit discomforted. And the four brothers didn’t look too pleased either.
"Miranda." Mrs. Hawke called out, forcing a smile.
Miranda glanced at her. "Sorry, you should call me Ms. Lancaster. I’ve got nothing to do with your family," she said, turning her gaze to Dorian and the rest three. "And you guys too. Stop trying to claim kinship or I’ll call the cops."
The mention of the cops made the Hawke family shift uncomfortably.
"It was our fault in the past, but if you could just forgive us, we could..." Mrs. Hawke tried to smooth things over.
Miranda cut her off without hesitation. She scanned the room, chuckling impassively, "Trying to guilt-trip me in front of all these people? You sure think highly of yourselves."
Mrs. Hawke's face turned a shade of flushed and ashen.
Alden said gravely, "Miranda, no matter your last name, you'll always be our daughter."
Listening to the Hawkes’ attitude toward Miranda, Arabella bit her lips so hard they started to bleed.
Miranda’s brows knitted together. "What’s wrong with you people? Keep bothering me and I'll get security."
Alden and Grace’s faces darkened.
Caius stepped in front of Miranda. "Keep hassling my sister, and don't blame me for calling someone. Stop trying to claim family ties. My sister doesn’t need embarrassing relatives like you. Isn't there some golden child in your family?" Caius nodded toward Arabella. "There she is. Go claim her, and stop pestering my sister."
He turned to Miranda. "Sis, let’s go. They’re showcasing some jewelry over there. Pick what you like, and it's on me."

The readers' comments on the novel: Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back
In what world was it ever okay for people to like people who hit and punch them? Miranda deserves someone who doesn't hit people, she needs someone who commands respect through kindness, who could show her a world where people respond more to kindness. All this shows is that it's all about money. There was no character development for Elian. He is the typical boring man, tough but soft for the heroine. Seb is the typical mysterious, quiet and strong. Can you introduce another character who would really pique Miranda's interest from the start please. All the stories I've ever read are about strong people getting together, kings, alphas, queens, powered individuals. What about someone ordinary but not too ordinary, someone middle class but hard-working, someone relatable? Okay ,rant over, bye...
I liked it before but her choosi g Elian made it boring pretty fast. He is too childish in front of her. It's your story though. I was hoping she'd neither choose Elian nor Sebastian but someone else. They are now too overpowered, it was getting redundant to read that they're the best at everything. Too much of a power couple is too much. Bye!...
Will there be an update soon please...
