Chapter 400 marks a crucial moment in Elma Evert’s Romance novel, Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back. This chapter blends tension, emotion, and plot progression to deliver a memorable reading experience — one that keeps readers eagerly turning the page.
Miranda was the first to open the message Jo had sent her.
In her world, family matters took precedence over everything else.
As she read Jo's message, she discovered that Carter had gone over to her house to wait for her.
And he had even spent the night on the sofa in the living room.
That guy...
"Miss Crystal said if he keeps this up, Mr. Hawke will become a regular at the doctor's."
That statement snapped Miranda back to attention.
Crystal, of all people, showing concern about Carter's health?
Without much hesitation, she arranged for Jo to set Carter up in one of the guest rooms, courtesy of the estate. Carter could roam anywhere except the backwoods. She also let him know she wouldn’t be home for the next few days.
After responding to Jo, Miranda started sifting through the other messages.
Her Godmom had left her over a dozen unread messages.
"Sweetheart, are you dating someone?"
"Is it Mr. Everhart?"
"Really?"
"Maybe give it some thought? I actually think Mr. Ashcroft's quite a catch too."
"Oh well, dating's fine. There's this new project related to the Everhart family, and the Lancaster family is in!"
Dating?
Miranda was puzzled.
Why the sudden interest from Godmom?
Speaking of Godmom, she wondered if there'd been a spat with William recently. His Facebook posts were tinged with a certain melancholy or vague emotional videos. The kind that screams relationship woes...
Godmom was gorgeous and well-kept, making her a target for eager young actors. William's love troubles weren't surprising. But their issues were more gossip fodder for Miranda than anything she'd meddle with.
So, after sending back a simple question mark, she replied, “Not dating, just business.”
“Why the sudden curiosity?”
After confirming her attendance, she casually skimmed through the rest of the messages.
She didn’t have many close contacts, so her inbox wasn’t exactly overflowing.
The Lancasters had asked her the same questions as Godmom.
Additionally, they were excited to inform her they were also in Virell.
Hannah: “Oh, by the way, sis, Jasper asked for your WhatsApp, so I gave it to him. But he says you keep ignoring his friend request.”
Miranda checked and, sure enough, there was a pending friend request.
Verification: Jasper. Pretty please, add me, sis!~~
She promptly hit 'decline.'
Jasper talked too much.
And not just a lot, but a lot of nonsense.
She couldn't stand the noise.

The readers' comments on the novel: Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back
In what world was it ever okay for people to like people who hit and punch them? Miranda deserves someone who doesn't hit people, she needs someone who commands respect through kindness, who could show her a world where people respond more to kindness. All this shows is that it's all about money. There was no character development for Elian. He is the typical boring man, tough but soft for the heroine. Seb is the typical mysterious, quiet and strong. Can you introduce another character who would really pique Miranda's interest from the start please. All the stories I've ever read are about strong people getting together, kings, alphas, queens, powered individuals. What about someone ordinary but not too ordinary, someone middle class but hard-working, someone relatable? Okay ,rant over, bye...
I liked it before but her choosi g Elian made it boring pretty fast. He is too childish in front of her. It's your story though. I was hoping she'd neither choose Elian nor Sebastian but someone else. They are now too overpowered, it was getting redundant to read that they're the best at everything. Too much of a power couple is too much. Bye!...
Will there be an update soon please...
