Other than this one particularly long treatment session, Miranda thought she'd be out of there in no time for her future visits.
So, no need to stay here long-term.
Elian seemed to like the sound of that; his mood visibly improved.
Sebastian didn’t respond to her statement directly but instead asked, “So, about what I asked earlier, can you help me out with that?”
Elian, though not interrupting, seemed more alert now.
Miranda knew he was referring to helping him root out a mole.
She nodded, “Sure. When?”
A slow smile spread across Sebastian's face, “I'll arrange a time and let you know.”
“Alright.” Miranda was about to leave but paused to remind him, “Don’t forget the doctor's orders—especially the dietary restrictions and activity limitations.”
Sebastian assured her, “I’ve got it all noted.”
“Good.”
With that, Miranda turned to leave, instinctively pulling her hand from Elian’s grasp. She wasn’t used to walking hand-in-hand with anyone.
But as soon as she did, Elian caught her hand again, leading her to her car.
Sebastian had already ensured her car was parked right by the exit.
Miranda half-expected Elian to pull one of his stunts—like calling a tow truck to whisk her car away.
She asked, “You driving or am I?”
She preferred to drive herself, but Elian could be persistent.
She realized she’d changed a bit—considering his preferences.
Elian took the keys, opened the passenger door for her, and waited until she was settled before walking around to the driver’s side.
Once inside, Miranda asked, “Where’s your car?”
Elian’s expression soured a bit. “I called a tow truck.”
His tone was a little frosty.
Miranda was puzzled.
“So, you’re not towing my car this time?”
Elian let out a soft, dramatic sigh, “I don’t have the right to be upset.”
Then his voice softened, “Just a bit unhappy.”
His shifting tone made Miranda chuckle.
If he were genuinely angry, she’d probably ignore him.
But Elian seemed to know precisely what made her tick.
He always knew.
She reached out and poked his cheek.
The sudden move made Elian hit the brakes hard.
Luckily, Miranda was firmly seated, so the sudden stop didn’t throw her off balance.
Elian turned to her, a hint of annoyance on his handsome face, eyes locked onto hers.
Miranda laughed, “I didn’t know about the picture. He told me it was unintentional, but people misunderstood.”
Elian clenched his jaw, “And you just believe him?”

The readers' comments on the novel: Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back
In what world was it ever okay for people to like people who hit and punch them? Miranda deserves someone who doesn't hit people, she needs someone who commands respect through kindness, who could show her a world where people respond more to kindness. All this shows is that it's all about money. There was no character development for Elian. He is the typical boring man, tough but soft for the heroine. Seb is the typical mysterious, quiet and strong. Can you introduce another character who would really pique Miranda's interest from the start please. All the stories I've ever read are about strong people getting together, kings, alphas, queens, powered individuals. What about someone ordinary but not too ordinary, someone middle class but hard-working, someone relatable? Okay ,rant over, bye...
I liked it before but her choosi g Elian made it boring pretty fast. He is too childish in front of her. It's your story though. I was hoping she'd neither choose Elian nor Sebastian but someone else. They are now too overpowered, it was getting redundant to read that they're the best at everything. Too much of a power couple is too much. Bye!...
Will there be an update soon please...
