A vast expanse unfolded before her eyes.
The space was as large as a football field, all around her was a pristine white, yet it exuded a sleek, high-tech vibe.
The moment she stepped in, she felt countless eyes honing in on her.
Those stares were filled with curiosity and scrutiny, and a touch of arrogant assessment.
As those gazes landed on her, her defense mechanisms kicked in automatically.
Unbeknownst to her, a faint, milky-white aura began to swirl around her.
But just as quickly, she retracted it.
Ever since she discovered this newfound energy flowing within her, this aura had started to manifest.
Beck had once told her that this was a form of energy that could be controlled by consciousness, and it presented itself as this aura.
Even when she practiced acupuncture, if she tapped into her mental and conscious power, this aura would envelop the needles.
And what she could achieve with these needles surpassed anything her previous medical skills could accomplish.
Perhaps this was what Beck meant by the special abilities that came with this power.
She cast a nonchalant glance at everyone present.
These people were far from ordinary, each one exuding a subtle aura themselves.
Including her, there were nine people in total.
Among them, besides her, was a young girl, perhaps fifteen or sixteen, who visibly brightened upon seeing Miranda.
Besides the girl, the rest were all men.
Their gazes were filled with appraisal, seemingly judging her capabilities.
The young girl stood up immediately upon seeing Miranda, "Wow! Finally, another girl!"
It's just that she was a healer.
Healers typically aren’t known for their offensive capabilities.
He hadn’t received any intel on Miranda’s offensive skills, only rumors of her injuring someone with acupuncture needles.
But sticking someone with needles isn’t particularly impressive.
However, some of these guys could launch tangible attacks, and testing out Miranda might get a bit intrusive.
But they were watching, ensuring Miranda wouldn’t come to any harm.
Elian just curled his lips into a smile, saying nothing.
At that moment, all the others, except the young girl, began to slowly close in on Miranda.
An invisible aura started to emanate from them, sending a chilling pressure toward Miranda.

The readers' comments on the novel: Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back
In what world was it ever okay for people to like people who hit and punch them? Miranda deserves someone who doesn't hit people, she needs someone who commands respect through kindness, who could show her a world where people respond more to kindness. All this shows is that it's all about money. There was no character development for Elian. He is the typical boring man, tough but soft for the heroine. Seb is the typical mysterious, quiet and strong. Can you introduce another character who would really pique Miranda's interest from the start please. All the stories I've ever read are about strong people getting together, kings, alphas, queens, powered individuals. What about someone ordinary but not too ordinary, someone middle class but hard-working, someone relatable? Okay ,rant over, bye...
I liked it before but her choosi g Elian made it boring pretty fast. He is too childish in front of her. It's your story though. I was hoping she'd neither choose Elian nor Sebastian but someone else. They are now too overpowered, it was getting redundant to read that they're the best at everything. Too much of a power couple is too much. Bye!...
Will there be an update soon please...
