That’s exactly why Miranda just walked out.
Honestly, she’d rather go solo than team up with a bunch of people like that. At least this way, nobody could drag her down.
It was painfully obvious—there wasn’t a single person in that group who could actually get everyone to listen. Each and every one of them was totally self-centered. Trying to talk things over with them would be a complete waste of time.
She’d bet good money they wouldn’t get through ten sentences before someone started arguing—or flat-out yelling.
Well, whatever. This time, at the expo, she’d be there as an official guest of the Lancaster Group, anyway. That meant she’d be front and center, representing them—her path was totally different from theirs.
She didn’t have to wait long before she spotted Elian.
He was walking up from the front of the car—tall, lanky, with that comic book vibe going on. You’d never guess that under those clothes he was hiding a body packed with insane strength and muscle. If he were a dead man, he’d be the perfect specimen. But alive? He was pretty much perfection in motion.
Every time she thought about it, Miranda couldn’t help but feel a little hungry for him.
“Done talking?” she asked, leaning on the car.
Elian grinned. “How’d you know?”
He strolled up to her, totally relaxed, holding her gaze.
Miranda raised an eyebrow. “Just a hunch.”
She popped open the passenger door and slid in without waiting.
Elian, not missing a beat, circled around to the driver’s side.
As they headed toward her place—a big old country house just outside the city—Elian couldn’t help himself. “Aren’t you curious what they wanted from me?”
“Not really,” Miranda replied, looking out the window.
He shot back, “So if I asked what they wanted you for, would you tell me?”
“Nope.”
He’d expected that answer, but he still looked a little miffed.
Miranda caught his expression and smirked. “You know the drill. Confidentiality.”
Elian arched an eyebrow. “Knowing doesn’t make it any less annoying.”
She knew he could be a bit touchy, so she let it go.
Still, Elian threw in a warning, his voice low. “Be careful.”
She nodded. “Yeah.”
Then, suddenly, his eyes sparkled with pure joy.
“You’re serious?” He grabbed her shoulders, excitement written all over him, but then his face turned deadly serious. “Miranda, you’d better not be messing with me!”
She laughed, a little dizzy from his enthusiasm. “Yeah, I’m serious.”
Once he calmed down, he asked, “Okay, but…official how?”
He looked at her like a golden retriever begging for a steak.
Miranda grinned. “What do you want it to be?”
Without missing a beat, he said, “Husband.”
Miranda snorted. “We haven’t even signed the papers.”
Elian shot back, “So let’s do it. Right now.”
Miranda blinked. “What?”
Before she could process it, Elian was already pulling out his phone, ready to call the courthouse.

The readers' comments on the novel: Kiss My Revenge The Heiress Strikes Back
In what world was it ever okay for people to like people who hit and punch them? Miranda deserves someone who doesn't hit people, she needs someone who commands respect through kindness, who could show her a world where people respond more to kindness. All this shows is that it's all about money. There was no character development for Elian. He is the typical boring man, tough but soft for the heroine. Seb is the typical mysterious, quiet and strong. Can you introduce another character who would really pique Miranda's interest from the start please. All the stories I've ever read are about strong people getting together, kings, alphas, queens, powered individuals. What about someone ordinary but not too ordinary, someone middle class but hard-working, someone relatable? Okay ,rant over, bye...
I liked it before but her choosi g Elian made it boring pretty fast. He is too childish in front of her. It's your story though. I was hoping she'd neither choose Elian nor Sebastian but someone else. They are now too overpowered, it was getting redundant to read that they're the best at everything. Too much of a power couple is too much. Bye!...
Will there be an update soon please...
